Intro Log!

Characters: OPEN to new arrivals and NPCS.
Where: En route to Casualty Communal
Rating: Gen
Time: February 11 onwards
Description: Welcome to Death City!

The city was in good shape today, despite the recent attack to it and the unfortunate earthquake a month back. The damages to the city had been repaired best as they could, and everything else was covered in a healthy heap of decor for the upcoming Valentine’s Day.

Things were a bit somber, as was expected after so many of the residents lost their loved ones. Fortunately, if there was something Death City was good at, it was getting back on its feet after a fall.

[ooc: Player characters will also be joining the log. Everything after the sub thread Soul Perception is open to all characters.]

Assigned, just like every other sucker you see answering questions and running tours and working machines. It finally got to the point where the natives couldn't handle the enormous pulsating backlog of new people, I guess. I think it's because BREW drags fresh trolls in here almost all the time now, so they figure putting the leader up front lessens the blunt force culture shock.

[ welp. can't be right all the time. ]

Then there should be plenty to fight their war. Why does it keep bringing in more?

Who the fuck knows why BREW does anything it does? It's fickle and no one can figure it out. Sometimes it'll bring people here, then send them home like two days later. Or keep them for months on end and then send them back in the middle of the night so everyone's all, oh shit, where's what's-his-horns?

[yeah he's a little bitter. BREW likes to mess with his friends and took his partner pretty recently.]

We get these batches of new people because for some reason we almost never get to keep anyone worthwhile. It's so stupid and there's no pattern to it at all.

[ well he certainly has no idea what to say to that. but he can still sense the bitterness, but refrains to comment on it. ]

It certainly doesn't seem to be an effective way of going about its business.

[he's not good at losing people.]

It really isn't, but just try applying logic to anything around here and see how well that works out for you.
