Description: The team at Metokkori R and Hikan Cafe have a camping trip complete with marshmallows, curry and an unknown enemy attacking them in the middle of the night.






'Work is important, but what is just as important is to have fun, de arimasu. The team that plays and works together, stays together, de arimasu!'

Was what Keroro said right before announcing their first annual team-bonding camping trip.

The site was chosen as the park, simply because it was free and open. That and Keroro just wasn't all that interested in going out in the desert and being carried away by vultures.

Now get to bonding! What do you think he's giving you guys a half day off for?!

[The park's gardener was back again and she didn't look very happy about those colored splotches all over the ground...]

Who's responsible for this mess? [Lily's hand was clenched around the small gardening sickle she had recently purchased and she used her sweetest voice, the one that meant she was about to lose her temper.]

[Keroro doesn't even look up from what he's doing (eye-contact can be incriminating.)]

Giroro.

[Even if she can't sense vibrations from people anymore, Lily can still observe and the way Keroro is not looking at her is very suspicious.]

So, you're telling me the red critter did it. [She sounds a bit doubtful.] But didn't he tell me you're supposed to be his leader?

[How could you doubt these guileless eyes, Lily?]

Just because I'm the leader doesn't mean I can control what he does when he gets crazy ideas, de arimasu.

[Besides, he doesn't get anything for stopping him and getting punched in the face isn't fun. ]

[Because she had been fooled by someone much less suspicious than an alien frog before.]

Then, it sounds like you're not a very good leader if you can't control your subordinates. [She would have expected more discipline in an army.]

A truly good leader, knows when to let their subordinates express themselves without being hindered, de arimasu.

[More...discipline? Not when talking about the Keroro Platoon.]

Throwing paint all over the grass seems more like vandalism to me. [Lily gestures to the splotches with the sickle. She's also getting kind of annoyed at his "it's not my responsibility" attitude.]

I think so too, de arimasu. He really doesn't know how to control his actions, de arimasu.

[Keroro shakes his head at this. It's so sad when someone doesn't know when they're going too far. So disappointed in his subordinates.

And none of that is his fault, of course.]

I wish I had more than one annoyed icon... ^_^;;;

Then, where is that critter? You should make him clean this up. [Now, she's pointing towards Keroro with that sickle. Even if it's only a gardening tool, it looks pretty sharp...]

Keroro jumps back from the sickle, quickly waving his arms in front of him.]

Ah, well, I'm sure he's around, de arimasu. H-Have you tried looking for him, de arimasu?

And I already have a million things to do around here without chasing oversized frogs. [Have you seen how overgrown many parts of the park are because there wasn't a gardener for so long?]

[Geez, he was busy finding a new place for his tent. But he'll walk over because you are his platoon leader.]

[Lily glanced between the two frogs and then fixed her eyes on Giroro.] Keroro says you're the one who threw paint all over the ground. Is that true?

I didn't throw it. I shot it out of a paint gun.

A paint gun... [What was with all these weirdos in the park lately? If there wasn't already rule against using such things in the park, there sure as shootin' should be!]

Why did you do that? Did it have anything to do with Keroro? [Lily looked over at the green one. She was still suspicious about his claim of having nothing to do with the paint.]

[Don't look at him, Lily. He's completely innocent for once. Mostly innocent.



More innocent than Giroro is in this incident anyway.]

I found their training camp lacking, so I decided to supplement it.

[She still has doubts that Keroro's innocent in all of this.] And why a paint gun? I reckon you could have come up with something that wouldn't have left such a mess.

Guns are ideal for ambushes. And I didn't have the time or materials to set up traps.

[For once, Lily agrees with Keroro's sentiments!]

[Traps... Did that mean if he had the materials, she would have been treated to a booby trapped workplace this morning?] Couldn't you have at least used water guns instead? This is city property and I reckon they'd consider what you did vandalism.

[He's so glad he isn't the one being lectured anymore. Who cares that it's Giroro getting lectured?]

[He would have taken them all down by morning! Unlike a certain sergeant he remembers to dispose of his traps when he no longer needs them.]
