Characters: Dolorosa & Disciple
Location: Holocaust Mall
Rating: G?
Time: March 20th
Description: The two spend some quality time together via shopping.
[Disciple had never been especially good at assembling clothing. Certainly she could appreciate aesthetics, but she always seemed to miss something when it came to picking out and figuring things that might go well together. In part it was because lack of trying. In her younger days she hadn't even cared about what she looked like and the only way she actually managed to keep her hair in any resemblance of well...hair was thanks to the Dolorosa who had always gone out of her way to comb it for her. A habit Disciple hadn't quite appreciated at first but over time it grew to be something she looked forward to. It was a moment for just the two of them to speak and it was through those moments that she had really gotten to know, admire, and respect the older troll.
Which is why, even if shopping or clothing weren't things she usually thought much about, she was very happy to accompany Dolorosa on this venture. Right now she was looking at a shirt which was. Well to put it simply, hideous. What Disciple saw, however, was something very, very comfortable. She pulled it off its rack and turned to Dolorosa, signaling to get her attention.]

She knows she's going to have to be very patient, though, and the shirt that the Disciple shows her is the first challenge she faces today, during their little shopping trip.
Oh.
Disciple, honey, no.]
Ah. This pattern isn't very flattering, dear. [Her expression contrasts vividly with her words for a moment there, because Dolorosa looks like she's about to say something along the lines of OH MY GOD WHAT IN THE MOTHER GRUB'S NAME IS THAT ATROCITY.
Slowly, she takes the shirt from the other troll's hands and puts it back in place, reaching for a much more fashionable-- and equally comfortable-- shirt right after.] This one is much better!

She took the new shirt from Dolorosa, running the fabric through her fingers and looking at it. It did look nice and the material was soft to the touch and looked easy to move in. She held it in front of her to get a feel for how it might fit and smiled, nodding in agreement.]
I like it.

Excellent. Now, for something that matches it, would you prefer a pair of pants, or a skirt?
[Very Important Questions. Without waiting for an answer, Dolorosa reaches for a skirt and a pair of pants, both matching the shirt perfectly.]
Of course, acquiring both of these items would also be acceptable, should you have trouble deciding...

I do like the skirt but would it look good with some leggings? [Or something of the sort. Having nothing but underwear underneath would feel just weird to her. After so long always wearing layers upon layers it was hard for her to go out in anything less, despite the weather.]
Then again [But she stilled her hands, remembering who she was talking to. She didn't think saying something along the lines of wanting to show off for Signless would really be the best of ideas.]
