Someone knocked the door. Yamazaki stiffened for a minute. No, not yet, he's still not ready for this!

It's too late to turn back now.

He opened the door with a kind (and creepy) smile on his face.

I don't know...but I'm glad you came. I didn't really believe...The weather is awesome, isnn't it? Would you like to drink something?

[No, he did not expect Sheena to come, maybe that's why he was in the middle of dressing up, wearing only a T-shirt and a pair of boxers. And he didn't even notice it.]

[It took Sheena a moment to realize that he wasn't completely dressed, and she quickly stepped inside and closed the door before anyone else saw. Keeping her eyes on his face, she finally managed to speak.]

You didn't think I'd show up? I promised you, and I try to keep my promises. [Her voice was soft; not angry. And that explained why he wasn't fully dressed.]

Actually, how about I get something to see if I can take care of some of those cuts, while you finish getting ready?

[He did expect of Sheena and he tried to find some proper, elegant and cool clothes for himself, he just didn't have the time.]

DON'T LOOK AT ME, SHEENA, DON'T LOOK!I'LL BE BACK IN A MINUTE!

[He jumped into the bathroom and closed the door. Finally he pulled up his uniform he usually wore, and went back to Sheena.]

I...It's so much like me.

[Trust her, she was trying not to look as he left the room, so she turned and went into the kitchen to find a towel. She ran it under cold water while she waited for him to return.]

Don't worry about it, you've got other things on your mind.

[She turned and her brows raised in surprise. She had seen a uniform like that somewhere before, but she couldn't remember where. But that wasn't important now. She held up the towel.]

Let's see what I can clean before we go, okay?

O-okay.

[Yamazaki sat down and let Sheena treat his face. The feeling was...weird.]

I didn't know what to wear on our first date bu it's said that girls like men in uniform. And it's something special to me. Do you have things like that, too? Things you've brought from your world?

[Sheena dabbed the damp towel gently on his skin, being careful of his eyes, in order to get any remaining sand out of those cuts.

As she did so, she gave him a soft, shy smile. This was their first date? In a way, it was...]

Just what I'm wearing, Yamazaki. [Her normal attire with the big pink bow in the back. She didn't mention her most prized possession because he might not understand why she carried bells with her. Nor did she mention that she liked men in uniform, since she really didn't. But...]

You look nice in your uniform.

[Yamazaki's face was burning but not because of the sandstorm damage. Does he look nice? Did Sheena just say he looked nice? Oh, Nevada, Land of Miracles!]

T-t-thank you. You look very nice, too. You'd look great even wearing a maid uniform, too!

[Believe it or not, this meant to be a compliment!]

[Yes, she just said he looked nice. And she's a horrible liar, so it's the truth. But his compliment got him a strange expression in return.]

I'm not sure what you mean by that....

[Did he mean she'd look good in anything? Or that he wanted to see her as a maid? She hoped it was the first one, since she'd really hate to send him to the hospital for injuries she gave him after all the nice things he's done.]

[Zaki and his damned world...Why did he have to say that thing of that outfit? He'd deserve to be beaten!]

I mean...I don't really understand those people who are fans of girls wearing odd outfits and costumes. Personally I wouldn't want to see my girlfriend to wear a nurse costume or a maid outfit unless she wants to. If she's gentle and kind-hearted it's way more attractive than an outfit.

[Sheena actually manages to remain calm as he explains, her touches still gentle as she finishes working on his cuts.]

I see. [If she's understanding him correctly, he just said her actions meant more to him than her looks. That's...one of the nicest things anyone's ever said to her.]

Do you? And...what do you want to do now?

[He's sure Sheena would leave him for what he said. But apologizing would only worsen things.]

[She finishes cleaning his cuts and stands, putting the towel in the kitchen sink.]

Do? What do you think I'm going to do? [She smiles softly. He had everything figured SO wrong.]

I'm going to go with you to the clinic as promised, that's what. [She holds out a hand to help him up.]

Come on.

T-to the clinic? Why?

[He hoped Sheena forgot about the clinic already.]

Are you so angry of me because of that speech of maid suits? Do you want to see me tortured by some doctors?

[Sheena's eyes widen in shock. He's truly scared; no wonder he asked her to go with him. She sits beside him, her expression gentle.]

Yamazaki, I'm not mad at you, at all. You told me it was my actions and not how I looked that you liked. Not too many people have.

But, there's only so much I can do for your injuries here, and if I try to fix your eyes...I could make things worse. [Yeah, blinding him is not something she wants to do.]

And, if I think the doctors are hurting you on purpose, I promise you I'll stop them. Okay?

No needles...right? Not a single one of them...Okay.

[And if Sheena was so close to him he leaned forward and touched Sheena's nose with his lips. He was so, so thankful!

[Her cheeks turn red when he kisses her nose and she sits quietly a moment.]

C-Come on. Let's get you taken care of.

[Damn her nervous stammer.]

Yes. Let's hurry!

[If he was brave enough to kiss Sheena on her nose, he can do the visit at the clinic, too! He grabs Sheena's hand and smiles at her. And he forgets to close he door as they leave the apartment.]

Clinics are actually not so bad places. We've met at the clinic the first time.

[She doesn't even notice he's left the door open as they leave, her concern about him blocking out a few other things.]

Yes. We did meet there, didn't we? [So why was he so afraid of them?]

It was a very nice and memorable night for me. Your voice was so cute in the communicator...

[This relationship is not ripend enough for them to know everything about each other. Would Sheena marry someone whose father practices acupuncture?]

[She gives him a surprised look.]

Did you just say my voice was "cute?"

[Would Yamazaki marry someone who's a Ninja Chief?]

[Yamazaki's look was even more surprised and a bit worried.]

I did, but I can change it to sweet or nice or attractive if you didn't like the word cute!

[Yamazaki was kind of a ninja in his world. It's only natural for him to marry a lovely Ninja Chief!]

Stop panicking, Yamazaki. [Her voice is gentle and her cheeks red.]

[And Yamazaki does stop panicking. He looks kind of proud and a tad bit more mature than he usually is.]

Yes. Zaki likes Sheena's lovely hot-head and he wants to run into every dangerous situation with her!]

You're actually the first person--man or woman--who's ever said anything nice about my voice.

["Banshee" isn't exactly a term of endearment.

He should really re-think that, since she'll need someone to get her out of those situations occasionally.]

[She had felt him stiffen and looks ahead. Oh.]

[He's already been there once for her and now she's there for Zaki, but that's her nature anyway.]

[Zaki wanted Sheena hold his hand but it would make him look more of coward as he was now.]

[She'd hold his hand in more than a casual manner if he asked, but he'd have to ask first.]
