Not-so-desperate times, and all. [semi-open!]
Characters: Mukuro, a passed out Rhode and any of Rhode or Mukuro's CR - drop by, please! :3
Location:Casa Mukulot Mukuro and Rhode's apartment!
Rating: G... I think?
Time: February 9, mid-morning until whenever!
Description: The apartment had to be cleaned. The girl had to go.
Let it be known that he had formulated the plan on the very eve of his return to Death City. It was clear that Rhode was going to be stubborn, and the apartment was an absolute mess. As such, that morning, he got up earlier than usual and slipped a little something into the food he cooked for her, and a bit more into the smoothie he made, just for good measure. Lovely thing was out like a light soon after finishing, as planned.
Yes, Rhode, you were incredibly tired and did not realize it at all.
After changing her into proper bed clothes, Mukuro effortlessly lifted his partner up and plopped her on the bed. Then he was changing into something a bit homier than his usual outfit, rolling up his sleeves, and bringing out the cleaning materials. He took one moment out to send two general calls out on the network (one for his friends, saying how very boring it was and how lovely it'd be if they were to drop by and one for her friends, saying how very bored Rhode was and how lovely it'd be if they were to come and keep her company) before rolling up his sleeves.
Time to get to work.
[ooc: If you've got close CR with Mukuro or Rhode, assume you got the respective message on the network. Prose or action, s'all good!]

So how he ended up at their apartment anyway was beyond him. The exorcist wasn't known for being good with directions (he was terrible with them, actually), but had he been paying attention he would realize he didn't even live on the fourth floor. By the time he realized his key wasn't working, though, it was probably too late to back out. He had clearly made enough noise trying to open the door to be ignored by whoever lived there. ]

Oh my.]
Well, hello there~

Sorry, wrong door.

[Ignoring what you just said there, yep, and taking your arm to reel you riiiight in.]
Rhode's asleep right now, but perhaps you can see her anyway.

[ whoa, wait, what? not only was it the wrong door, it was the last door he would ever want to mistake for his own. the stranger pulling him through the door seemed to recognize him, though. it wasn't the first time this had happened to him since arriving here. ]
If she's sleeping I better leave.

[And closing the door. Beaming.]
Mukuro Rokudo. We've met before. You don't remember. It's fine.

[ he gives up on trying to leave, instead standing helplessly in the entrance way. something about Mukuro makes him uncomfortable, but he can't help thinking that may just be his association with Rhode. ]
Should I not introduce myself then? [ although it feels rude not to. ]

can I assume that the door is open and Mukuro's beating a mat outside or something...
People saying that they were bored was reminding him too much of Kuroro's lethargic episodes. If Kurapika had to be honest, he didn't want Mukuro to disappear, too. How awkward would talking to Rhode be in that case?
sure. XD
One such thing happened to be a rug that he was carrying out the door at that moment, on the pretense of beating it out. He blinked, though, when he saw who was coming, and smiled.
"Hello, Kurapika."
Given how Mukuro usually dressed himself and appeared in public, it was probably strange to see him looking so... domestic.

"... What are you doing?" It still needed to be asked, though.
no subject
Mukuro chuckled at his own joke, because it was totally funny.
no subject
"You don't look like you're bored. Why did you call me?"
no subject
Mukuro was pretty sure that Kurapika was excellent at it...
no subject
Nope, not biting just yet.

Mukuro only chuckled, as if he had not just possibly backhandedly insulted Kurapika. Such banter was what their relationship was built upon, in his opinion.
"If you won't help, then I'll just have to get you some tea and let you be a proper guest."
no subject
"I'm only passing by to check that nothing's wrong."
