[OPEN] June 2012 Intro Log
Characters: OPEN
Where: Inside Shibusen - The Tour
Rating: Gen
Time: March 1 onwards
Description: Welcome to Death City! Ignore the sand.
It’s one of those days when the BREW starts making the weird energy readings it gives when about to pull people into Death City. Shibusen prepares the place as usual, setting up their tables, the communicators, and calling for the agents who kindly volunteered every time this happened.
Just before the BREW starts, however, a cloud of sand rolls over the city and covers it in darkness, dust, and wind, going high enough to envelop even Shibusen on top of its normally safe location overlooking the city. The alarms go out, the residents quickly retreat to shelter, and Shibusen...
Needless to say, Shibusen isn’t happy about this, and resignedly prepares the dorms instead.
ooc: Player characters will also be joining the log. Everything after the sub thread Dormitories is open to all characters, and people are free to make their own threads. Please put a header on it: [NAME][LOCATION][OPEN/CLOSE]

"He is," she said softly. "The device that brought you here called BREW can draw people in from different aspects of time. It makes for a very confusing and emotionally traumatizing set of events. What you remember may be far beyond what I or Tassadar does. So far, I've been far behind all the events as I'm sure you can imagine."

"You have not become the Queen of Blades, then," he said. Robbed of their right to make her pay for her crimes again. Sarah Kerrigan was innocent. "And what of Tassadar?"
Did he remember dying, or not dying? He wasn't up to give up what he knew until he had a firm grasp on the situation. In all honestly, it looked like that was going to take awhile.

"No, my last memory is the zerg surrounding me on Tarsonis," she replied softly. She knew well the devastation that she had caused after that point in time, and she wondered if he thought to end her here and now to rid the future of such trouble.
"Tassadar has been here longer than I have, and he comes before he sacrificed himself," she said simply. It was all going to come out sooner rather than later. "He's... had trouble here. There was another Protoss previously, Selendis, but she left. He's... suffered from the isolation, I think." She knew, but best not to get too cozy.

"The Executor? Interesting," he said. Her absence had not been noticed, but he had a feeling BREW's command over time was quite strong. An incredible device, whatever it was. He nodded at the mention of the isolation, looking troubled for a brief instant. "As a son of Aiur, Tassadar is of the Khala. The isolation is anathema."
Zeratul finally straightened up somewhat, letting the ragged strips of his cloak fall back over his arms. "Where might I find him?"
no subject
She suspected that was part of the problem, since he had mentioned it. Perhaps Zeratul being here would ease some of Tassadar's suffering. "There is more to it than that, but it's best that he tell you. His secrets aren't mine to give out," she said.
As for where he was, she shrugged. "He could be anywhere, but I can send him a message to come here. Unless you'd prefer to meet him somewhere less crowded?"
no subject
He stepped away to do just that, but stopped to look back at her. Raynor's dreams had been so very vivid, and he could see why the man had fallen in love with her. There was a fire to her, but nothing like the Queen of Blades. At least, not that he could tell so far.
"You and I will have much to discuss in the future, Sarah Kerrigan," he said gravely.
no subject
Meeting his gaze was easy enough, and she had no fear of him or any Protoss who came to this place. She did have to wonder what he was thinking about when he looked at her like that.
"As long as discussions don't come with knives drawn, I'll look forward to it. See to Tassadar," she said before turning away from him.
