[CLOSED]
Characters: Hisoka and Hades
Location: The park
Rating: M...for the crazy magician
Time: February 23, morning
Description: Hisoka and Hades have a meet 'n' greet
Hisoka had finally managed to get out of the hospital after threatening the staff, and he was glad not being surrounded by a bunch of whiny weaklings. Covered in bruises, burns and bandages, Hisoka made his way to one of his preferred places - the nearby park.
It was easy enough to find a secluded place to train, where he wouldn't be badgered by stupid people with stupid questions. He started stretching slowly at first, ignoring the sharp pain flaring from his broken ribs and fingers, and the pulling of the cuts on his torso and legs. He had one focus right now. I will kill those witches for what they did. His eyes flashed in anger before Hisoka caught himself, and resumed his regular look of amusement.
Confident of his abilities despite his multiple injuries, Hisoka began to lazily punch and kick the air, slowly building up speed until his movements began to almost blur into each other. Hisoka ignored the screaming pain from his ribs. Pain was something that you controlled. Only weak people let it control them.

"Naturally. Hunters are more alert, stronger, and have a few trick up their sleeve," Hisoka said casually, a playing card appearing in his right fingers seemingly out of nowhere at the last comment. A joker. How amusingly appropriate. He flicked it between the fingers on one hand idly.
"But it also depends on the type of prey."
Hisoka didn't miss the meaning behind Hades words, and his lips curved upward into a smile. "Hnnn...a triple hunter. Interesting. And what do you do when you catch the hunter who hunts the hunter?"
no subject
Turning his attention away from Hisoka, he smiled to himself, apparently over a fond memory of such an instance. "I confront them with the truth. What else would a mirror do?"
no subject
Hisoka raised an eyebrow at Hades next comment. "A mirror?" he questioned, curious. "Not quite what I was expecting."
He studied Hades' face for a moment before his smile widened a little. "Although perhaps some things are worse than death," he mused, his eyes not leaving the other man's.
"What kinds of things do your mirrors show?"
[OOC: So sorry for the really late reply - RL has been insane lately. Promise I'll keep up with the tagging though :)]

"The truth. Whatever it is, whether one wants or can't see it or not." He smiled. "I am no scary god unless you fear."
no subject
"I see," he mused, tapping one finger against his lips. "So everyone sees something different." He raised an eyebrow. "What happens if you come across someone who doesn't fear anything?"
no subject
...Maybe that was one of the reasons why Hades never asked people how he appeared to them. Knowledge was good, but too much of it could be poisonous. Or worse, it could ruin the fun of the game.
One of his ears flicked lightly as he looked up to Hisoka. "Do you think I would be beautiful to you? Or rather a monster?"
no subject
Either way, that was disappointing. It would have been interesting to witness.
Leaning back, his put his hands on his hips, his eyes travelling over Hades' body from top to bottom and back up again. "Hnn....perhaps a combination of both," he mused. "If I feared anything. As you say, beauty and terror are closely entwined."
no subject
A hint of a smile crossed his lips. "Do you think that what you think and what is inside your heart is one and the same?"
no subject
"A shame," Hisoka said lightly with the flick of a finger. "I would have been curious to see how you appeared to me."
He raised an eyebrow at Hades' following comment. "Only someone who can truly accept who and what they are can say they are one and the same," he replied casually. "Others are just lying to themselves. Facing oneself is perhaps one of the more difficult opponents." He paused for a second, and then grinned. "For some."
sorry for the late reply! ><
Unfortunately Hades' bad habit of referring to persons as if they were things hadn't changed when he had arrived in this realm.
"For most, even. Even gods can be toppled if they are surprised by the reflection of their hearts." Apollo's time of blissful ignorance had ended quickly after he had made the mistake of not fleeing Hades' company upon their first meeting. "You might still learn the answer to your question, come the right time." He smiled lightly, eyes calm and confident, but with a short sadistic flicker. Everybody died, after all.
