Location: Training grounds
Rating: G to PG
Time: Feb.23rd, morning
Description: The Hyuuga sisters test resonance together and destroy a practice dummy in the process

Hanabi didn't want to pressure her sister to work with her, but she couldn't deny the point that a few people had made to her. She and Hinata had a very good chance of resonating strongly with one another and working well together. Trust was an important part of resonance, and they had that, along with the desire to protect each other from harm. There was the added benefit that Hinata wouldn't doubt her on the basis of her age.

It was best that Hinata tested resonance with someone who she knew and trusted anyhow, Hanabi thought. She didn't want her sister having a bad experience by attempting resonance with a Meister with a difficult personality. Knowing Hinata, she'd blame herself and apologize if the resonance was bad, when it took two people to resonate. Unless one had a Meister ability that involved self-resonance like Hanabi's Meister ability, that was. She knew Hinata had tested resonance once with a Meister named Ammy.

"Ready, Hinata-neesan?" she asked. Extending her arm, she reached her hand out so that Hinata could grab it as soon as she was ready to transform into her Weapon form.

"Yes. Let's." As it was rather difficult for her to smile in this form, her almost giddiness-almost happiness came through her wavelength. That reassurance from Hanabi was all she needed to feel like that. Her own curiosity about what would possibly happen when they worked together wasn't much help either.

"I'm ready...whenever you are."

While she had an idea as to what Hanabi's ability as a Meister was, she was a little unsure as to what her own was. To say the least, to see such destruction from simply combining their abilities and working together, it was...surprising. Hinata wasn't quite sure as to what she was expecting to have happen--even likely expecting nothing to, given her luck back home--but to have the training dummy explode?

It was shocking.

And, well, cool. In a sense. But still, shocking.

"Ah... That," she started, but found herself unable to finish.

Hinata was less uncertain, moreso than Hanabi. If her Weapon ability was something supportive, something meant to help in a fight or even as an ability to be used off the battlefield, she would feel better about this. But to even think that somehow she received an ability meant to attack? When even back home it was not her forte? It felt wrong.

And it felt right. Strength was always something she wanted. But perhaps, not in this way.

"Ah, yes." Hinata agreed. She sounded happy, too. Still a little excited, but dampened by what had happened.

"I do think we would.. Um, it would really be nice. If we worked together. I'd like to." She stumbled over her words this time not because of nervousness, but out of joy. From gratitude. Working with her sister would be a blessing. It meant she wouldn't have to worry about her whenever she went out on a mission with someone else. Plus, they really would give those Kishin Eggs the surprise of their life.

A mission? Yes, that was something she was hoping to get a start on. And to have her first be with her sister? She couldn't think of anything better. "I'd like that, yes." Her happiness had become more content, yet still excited. "After at least one mission, we should know how much we will need to work on control.." And maybe have a better idea of just what her ability was, so that that could be worked on, too.
