[unlike everyone else, qilby's pretty darn sure he's got it in him to pull this stupid weapon out of its stupid hole.

it's just that, after everything he's seen so far, he's not sure he's going to like what happens when he does. but the promise of ultimate power is just too enticing -- surely it can't be that bad?

only one way to find out. kings have drawn the sword before, so it's only fitting he should get it. he grips its handle and, without much waffling about, pulls.]
