Characters: Aqua and whoever she runs into
Location: Special mention of the library, the super market, and the Outer Quarter, but feel free to catch her en route to any of these places or near Death City Heights!
Rating: PG
Time: February 19, all day
Description: Aqua's keeping busy.
Aqua's morning was spent running errands. The fridge needed restocking and other supplies that needed replacing. That she hadn't noticed until she was nearly all out said a great deal about her life recently. Sometime after that she'd parked her bike outside of the library intent on getting some reading done. What she ended up doing was falling asleep on a book for a few hours. Later in the evening she would be out and about in the Outer Quarter doing patrols.
Honestly, after everything that had happened, she felt exhausted, but what else can she do but try to keep going?

Though she blushes a little at the reminder of her nap.
"Yeah. I finished a few..."

"Yeah? I can't help but wonder if there are similarities between the fairy tales here and the ones from my world. Were there things like princesses and witches and such in the ones you read?"
no subject
"There were." She smiled, "The really interesting thing, though, was that some of the stories actually resembled people that I've met and what happened to them. Some of them even have the same names as the main characters."

"There was something that allowed me to travel to other worlds back home. Usually it's not something I'm supposed to talk about but, well, it's not like people here don't already know that other worlds exist."
no subject
"I see. Yeah, that's certainly true. If anyone arrived here without knowing, they'd understand the existence of other worlds soon enough. Was it fun? Going to other worlds, I mean."
no subject
"I hadn't really thought about it. It was just something I had to do." To keep the worlds safe, to carry out her responsibilities as a Keyblade Master. Still, when she thought about it...
"But I met a lot of friends during my travels and I learned a lot from them."

And then he smiled warmly. "I think meeting new people is always interesting. You can always learn different things that way, and if not not generic things, getting to know them is nice too. Learning about what they like or what they do... I think it's definitely fun. Even if you happen to be from the same world, everyone's experiences are always different, and everyone's point of view has it's own unique quirks. I think being able to see the different aspects of that is intriguing." There he went rambling again. It was something he definitely felt passionate about though. Moving on...
"Do you suppose your job would have been more boring if you hadn't made friends?"

And in another life, one where she'd never become a Keyblade Master, she would have been content staying in just one world. Still, that was not to be and she doesn't really regret it.
She nodded during his explanation. She had learnt a great deal travelling, about dreams, friendship, love and what being a hero means. Some of what she learned raised even more questions, but she was glad for the experience.
She had to stop and think about his question, though. After a moment she just shook her head with a quiet laugh.
"I can't imagine it." She admitted, "A lot of them ended up helping me out. I can't imagine how I could have done some of those things I had to without them there."

Hughes chuckled softly at her reply to his last question. "Friends are pretty wonderful. I don't think I could imagine how things would have been without them either." His expression gets a bit wistful, but it passes quickly enough. "It's always nice to have them. They're reliable."
