Location: Near and Mello's apartment

Description: Genesis decides to pay Near a visit; unfortunately for the detective, he's still under the influence of those dreadful chocolates.
[Things have been significantly weird since yesterday, when the effects of those chocolates started to kick in. Weird and exhausting, in a way Near has never experienced before, despite being quite familiar with the exhaustion brought on by depriving himself of sleep for days in a row, in order to work and prolong his productivity for as long as is humanly possible. Wammy kids were not built for honesty (if anything, they were taught against it), and they were certainly not made for having heartfelt conversations about their feelings or lack thereof.
The only option he had was isolation, and there was only one place he could fully control to that extent: the surveillance room, which is where Near has locked himself in since yesterday. But he's hungry and he needs a change of clothes, and he can see Mello leaving the building they live in to make his way to the Agency, most likely wanting to confront him about what happened yesterday; this means that he needs to get out of there right now and take a different route home, if he wants to avoid his Meister altogether.
And that is exactly what Near does, walking home as fast as his unfit body allows him to. He'll just have a quick shower, change his clothes, grab some food and get out of there before Mello arrives.]

[Genesis shrugged, watching the other man. He seemed to be uncomfortable with the words coming out of his mouth, but then again, perhaps that was the effect of the drug acting upon him.]
