*he nods* Can't complain. Just trying to see how many are interested in my classes.

Splendid! I am sure that many will be interested! After all, they are useful.

[He takes a sip of his drink and looks around.]

How is the interest so far?

I think more people are interested in the survival skills than the group one. I think I have about five people interested in that. The other class might start off small and build up in time.

[Gai nods.]

Group resonance will be a... tricky thing. More than a few struggle as it is to resonate with their partner. To add two more into the mix is a challenge that few feel they are up for. How do you intend to test them on survival skills?

Well, it's not really group resonance as much as it's working -with- a group. *He taps a finger against his drink to try to get his thoughts together.* Let's say you were thrown into a group without your partner. What would you do?

First I'd teach them what I could. Then if I can swing permission, take them overnight in the desert and see how they do. Or a forest. Or wherever.

[Gai shrugs.] During the attack I was without him. It was not as easy to work, but I did, because that is what I do. However, it is possible that the shinobi here would find it a great deal easier than most to work with whomever they have to because of our lives. Sometimes you are simply not working with the people you would wish to.

[He takes a sip of his drink and nods.] There is also the park in the city where you can take them on trial runs, but you will want to make sure it has been recently cleared of Kishin.

So all shinobi are good at working with multiple groups? Maybe I need to start recruiting some more for the class. All of you would be good examples for everyone else.

Probably a good idea. It'd be a little more than I meant to test them on with kishin eggs thrown in.

[Gai pauses in thought.] Well-trained, dedicated shinobi are. So myself and my team are, as well as Kakashi, Gaara, Sakura, Naruto, and Hanabi. I would not try to recruit Sasuke or Itachi. Almost all would be good examples.

[He nods.] Perhaps you could request that it be gone-through by a few Weapon and Meister teams to make sure there is no added risk or danger involved that they are not ready for yet.

*Not recruit two people? Interesting.*

Probably a good idea. First I'll see if I can attract enough people interested and then I might consider that as a suggestion later on.

[The traitors are not exactly the most reliable of people. Or the best at working in groups, really.]

That makes sense! I hope that there is interest and that people seek to learn more! It is good when people learn!

I guess we'll find out, won't we?
