soul_logs | [Morning Training!]

Morning Training happens every day in the city, and most days get handwaved. Once a month a log goes up to play out interactions and teaching. It happens from 6 am to 9 am, and this time it's happening December 31st, in-game.

I'll be linking/indexing once threads are made.

Batch 1: Beginners under the age of fifteen. Taught by Prussia, Fakir, Auron.

Soul Talk. It is...rather like a more powerful form of persuasive speaking.

That's one that would be useful in everyday life.

I could teach you how to use it, if that were your Meister ability. However, we have yet to find out exactly what your ability is.

How do I find out other than trying things until one of them works? Magic isn't so limited where I come from, you know.

Personally speaking? I suppose I'm good at making things.

What kinds of things?

Practical things, like decorative hats, and traps, and enchanted tea cozies.

I thought I should find my power first... and most people I know here are Meisters as well.

While I agree that it's better to resonate with a Weapon with knowledge of one's Meister ability, some Meisters insist on attempting resonance anyway. It is also possible to discover it while resonating.

Have you used magic in combat?

At home, when I could? I have. Sometimes there isn't any choice.

[No choice, huh? Then again, she doesn't seem to be a regular in combat. He wonders if he can rule out any directly combat-related abilities at this point.]

What would you say are your talents and strengths? Besides magic, of course.

I can lead people, so long as they're willing to listen. And...

It was a bit faint, but... dark blue with a little white, somewhat dreary, and it reminded me of you.

Souls were usually depicted as round and glowing, as were kishin egg souls; he should know, as he had seen some before the Weapons he had worked with ate them up. Another reason why he preferred being a Meister.

It doesn't take him long to connect these two pieces of logic.]
