Morning Training happens every day in the city, and most days get handwaved. Once a month a log goes up to play out interactions and teaching. It happens from 6 am to 9 am, and this time it's happening December 31st, in-game.

I'll be linking/indexing once threads are made.

Batch 1: Beginners under the age of fifteen. Taught by Prussia, Fakir, Auron.
Batch 2: Adult beginners. Under Tommy Oliver, Saber, Kaoru Kamiya, Lightning Farron, Maito Gai.

[Dismissing the question, he raises a practice sword he has brought along.] Teach me.

I know how people die and kill with them and have been injured with one a few times. [He got better really fast.] I never had a need to use them myself.

All right. Let me get a wooden sword so I don't slice your practice blade apart first. *Once that's done, he motions Hades with his hand.* Come at me. If you manage to hit me and I can't block it, I deserve it.

[He gives a nod to show that he understands - and then spends some time just to figure out how to hold the blade right. It looks as if he has a good idea of what he is doing, but at the same time also that he has never done it before.

In the end he just shrugs and starts a simple direct attack that is nothing special besides the speed it comes with.]

*Auron raises up his sword to block and snakes the wooden blade around to attempt to knock it out of Hades' hands.*

[As if he had expected it (actually he has. An up-front attack against somebody as experienced as Auron just had to fail) he leans to the side, switching his balance from one foot to the other. He lets the sword go before Auron can properly knock it out of his hand and, reaching up and switching the dominant hand, catches it with the other one and performs a slashing hit against the swordsman.

Again, the implementation is clumsy but the knowledge behind it is good.]

*It's clumsy enough that Auron has time to block and counterstrike, but it does tell him a lot of the kind of knowledge Hades has about sword fighting.* Not bad.

[The counter hits Hades on the shoulder and he stops, giving it a mildly curious glance. It's obvious that he does not connect the hit with a loss or injury.]

Hm. I guess you would be.

The first thing you need to do is work on building up strength in your arms. Although you use your whole body when wielding a sword, if you can't hang onto it, it won't do you much good.

It's still a good idea to build up the strength in your arms. Aside from that, you need to have decent form.
