[OPEN... kinda. READ THE NOTES] Even the sun and the light of the day...
Characters: Lightning Farron, Superbi Squalo, anyone in the Watch HQ's who wants to point-and-laugh/etc.
Location: Watch HQ's
Rating: PG-13, R-ish for Squalo's mouth.
Time: December 28th, 2009
Description: Squalo caught a cold and still went to work in the morning, because there's still fuckton of paperwork to do. Lightning disagrees and... deals with him. For his own good. People in the Watch HQ's are welcome to drop by and poke the passed out shark and abuse his unconsciousness to your heart's content.
Squalo left his communicator on the desk and moved onto a fresh piece of paper, sparing a dark glare to the pile that had miraculously appeared on his desk that morning. He'd dropped in for a coffee and see if there was anything to keep him out of his freezing hole of an apartment, but he wasn't quite expecting that.
Grumbling and grumpy, he at least had the consolation of Lighting offering to buy him lunch. A bit surprising, perhaps, but certainly appreciated.
It should have been a telltale sign that he wasn't feeling all that good, that he wasn't being a paranoid ass about it.

Might as well get down to business, if they weren't going to go anywhere with that topic.
"How have your patrols been?"

"Eh, you know. The usual, a few thugs here and there, but those are easy to cut down, y'know?" He waved a hand for emphasis. A hand that momentarily melted into a blade, then back into a hand again. He didn't seem to notice. "They still haven't really gotten used to the whole watching-from-above thing, half the time. It helps."

"No trouble, then."

He shook his head again, feeling his eyelids dropping against his will. Goddamn, he was feeling odd.

"No. As things are, I should return to my duties." He measured Squalo with another look. "If you are certain that you are all right, then..."

And then he slumped all over his desk.

Koujurou stared at Squalo's prone form for a moment before stepping forward. He had every intention of checking the man over and bringing him to the clinic himself, unless someone planned on helping him out. The office wasn't empty, after all.
sorry for the late ;A;
She would never say it aloud, though.
Wandering over to the man hovering over Squalo's body, she glanced at him once, negated his presence as a threat and pressed her hand against Squalo's forehead. Still feverish. There was no reaction when she snapped her fingers by his ears. Completely knocked out.
"If you have business with Squalo, I suggest letting it wait until he gets better."

Koujurou eyed the newcomer without comment for a moment. He recognized her, at least. Lightning Farron, was it? From his lord's district.
"Yes, that does appear to be most advisable."

Taking the remaining unfinished work -as well as the one that Squalo was beginning to drool on- for herself, she finally considered Koujurou.
"You're Koujurou, his Zone Leader." There was no question there. "Squalo won't be able to attend his shift, but I am willing to take any other responsibility that usually falls to him."
It was the least that she could do, after all.

This woman certainly seemed to care for Squalo enough. At least the Weapon was in good hands.
