Description: How to make tea, by Lucy Heartfilia
They were very helpful, Rai thinks as he sets down the communicative device, willing to offer the aid that he might require. He supposes that would be the case in such a situation where they are more or less refugees.
He takes another look around the room that he has been placed in those few days ago, still a stranger to it and all the objects contained within. It would be a lie if he didn't have his concerns about living comfortably if he were to stay for a long time. His basic needs had always been met by Frankenstein, and it was regrettable that they had been separated like this. Never had he taken the man by his side for granted, and the lack of his presence is all the more apparent now. It was quite different, being powerless to such a vulnerable point.
Until his helper arrives, Rai sits there and thinks some more.

She supposed the snacks could also pose as a temporary housewarming gift. It’s not like she owned anything more appropriate or attuned to the occasion, anyway.
She shut the door behind her quietly before using her free hand to access her communicator. Lucy quickly reconfirmed the room number before slowly making her way there. “At least we’re in the same building,” she mused to herself, as she walked into the elevator, pressing the button for the first floor. She patiently waited for the “ping” before stepping out and into the long and bare hall.
She finds his room rather quickly and takes in a couple of deep breathes before giving the door a couple of well-placed knocks.

Rai stands quietly and makes his way to the door. In his current state, the most he can gauge from his surrounding is whether there was harmful intent towards him or not, but even that doesn't give him much information about another without direct contact. He touches the handle, then grips it, turning it cautiously. The door opens slowly.
And he sees the girl with whom he had conversed not too long ago. He nods in greeting.

Trying to take her mind off of her nerves, she instead took this opportunity to look around the room behind him. Though, this only lasted a couple of seconds before she quickly stopped herself and dissolved her gaze entirely. She figured it was sort of rude anyway and so she decided to start with something else. "Is it okay if I come in?” And after a short pause, she added, “My name is Lucy, by the way. Sorry for not introducing myself earlier.”

"Cadis Etrama Di Raziel," he says, before turning around and making his way back to the table. He didn't doubt that she would follow.

“Cadis Etrama Di Raziel…” she repeated softly before continuing, “It’s a pretty name.” Seeing him retreat, her eyes perked up as she quickly followed suit, closing the door behind her.

“Are they all here?” she asks, preparing to roll up her sleeves. “Sorry, I’ve never really been in anyone’s kitchen other than my own," and a slight pause, "oh, and you're new here, right? How are you settling so far?"

"Well enough."
He reaches up quietly, gracefully, and opens a cupboard to reveal where the tea leaves are. After setting them on the counter, he stands there gazing at Lucy, as if she should do the rest. After all, he has rarely done such things on his own.
I'm sorry she's so chatty. ;;
Her words trailed off as she grabbed a nearby pot, filling it with water before setting it on the stove.
HAHA that's okay. At least one person talking :')
But he finds that telling her of his experiences is needless, as with most of the small details about himself, though he nods, perhaps in understanding. As far as these people knew, he was human. It wouldn't be a lie, since his powers had been removed.
However, one thing did pique his curiosity, and that was what she said about her friends being here.
"Friends... from your world?"
"Your friends?"
\o/
“They were sent home, but I guess it’s no surprise. People are sent home all the time,” and despite her usual character, for once her voice was calm and completely even. Maybe even listless. But, at least she found the cups.
"Now just for the pot."
darn it that last line was supposed to be deleted
They needed help, yet they let them go. Is it because they were useless? No, there were plenty here unwilling to offer their support. Instead of letting them stay and perhaps improve their abilities for battle, they allow them to leave for unknown reasons. It didn't make much sense to Rai.
Though he isn't sure how much he can believe, he did suspect that these current settings had exceptions. So, there was the possibility that he would be gone before the war ended or that someone he knew might end up here.
To speed up the process, Rai reaches up and opens a cupboard, then takes out a pot.
dsjg if it helps, I didn't even notice anything wrong! ;;
"Sorry, I can’t really explain it better.” Lucy nods little in thanks, taking the tea pot and placing it on the table before giving a curt nod to herself. “We can just wait for the water to boil then.”
