He sees you when you're sleeping...[closed]
Characters: Hisoka, Yuuri, Sara, and later, Sasuke
Location: Yuuri, Sara and Sasuke's apartment
Rating: It's Hisoka. Let's go M15+.
Time: 29th October - very early morning
Description: Hisoka is making sure Yuuri stays safe...by watching him and Sara sleep.
Hisoka hadn't had any problems getting into the apartment - he was, after all, a hunter. A smirk crept across his lips. Not everyone would find it so easy to get into an apartment full of people without waking them, let alone a bedroom. He was sitting on the floor, leaning against the closed door, his eyes silver slits watching the rise and fall of two bodies sleeping. Yuuri looked quite cute as he slept.
Hisoka wasn't happy about the golden haired person he was sleeping with however. No mind. Hisoka always got what he wanted, and the fact that he'd been in the room most of the night already without either of them waking was a sign that he could have killed Sara if he wanted to.
But he didn't. Not yet anyway.
The gloom of the room was slowly growing lighter as the dawn neared.

Stretching his arms high above him as he yawned, Yuuri tried to remain as quiet as possible so as not to wake his bed companion. Sara had been too kind already in allowing him to remain with them in the apartment, that the very least he could do was move around without waking his close friend.
He dropped his arms back down to his sides after his yawn had ended. Rubbing at his sleepy eyes, it wasn't until he swung his legs out from beneath the blankets that he felt that something was off. "Huh?" He muttered questioningly to himself before glancing around the room. It was then that he caught sight of something off in front of the bedroom door.
It was dark in the room, considering that it was the moons turn out today, but it didn't stop him from knowing that someone was there. His heart instantly picked up in speed as his eyes widened, and he threw his arms out to the side in alarm. Don't panic, don't panic...
"EEeeeeeh?!" He screeched loudly. Alright, too late for not panicking. Eyes still wide, Yuuri didn't hesitate in shaking Sara awake as he said in a panic, "There's something in our room! Sasuke! That better not be you!"
Because, who else would it be?

Even at a more normal hour of the morning, he would have been groggy, so this was just ungodly, really. Stirred from his sleep by Yuuri's frantic shaking, the king groaned and rolled over without urgency, lifting his head blearily. Half-awake, he only caught the tail end of Yuuri's words, and scowled.
"Tell Sasuke to get out..." he mumbled, lifting a hand to rub at his eyes.

"Come now, Yuuri. It's not nice to wake your bedmate so early in the morning," he said in a low purr. "Can't you see he wants his beauty sleep? Besides, I told you already that you don't have to worry about anything attacking you."
no subject
"But wh--" Yuuri's voice trailed off as he recognised the mysterious speaker. How it happened, no one knew, but his eyes seemed to widen even further as recognised the Meister.
"H-H-Hisoka?!" The purr was enough to cause a shiver to run down his spine, and he froze much like a deer in headlights. "W-what are you doing in our bedroom?"

It was obvious that...Sara...was not a morning person. Hisoka stored that away for future reference. "You really should apologise to your bedmate Yuuri. He doesn't appear to be an early morning person like you."
no subject
"Thank you for your kind offer, but I don't need any protection," Yuuri said in response. There was something about the way that Hisoka spoke about apologising that put Yuuri on edge, but he couldn't quite put his finger on it.
"Is there something you need?" He said instead of speaking any further about Sara's awakening.
no subject
"Yuuri," he murmured as he sat himself upright and laid a questioning hand on the other king's should, voice low only for his friend's ears, "What's going on?"
no subject
"Yuuri," he said calmly, arms still behind his head. "I'm hurt that you think I would hurt your friend. I've been watching over both of you. If I was going to do anything, I would have done so already."
He lips curled into a smile. "Despite whether you think you need protection or not Yuuri, I'm still looking out for you...and anyone you care about."
He leaned forward, one knee raised with his arm resting on it, his eyes focusing on Yuuri. "I don't want you to get hurt Yuuri, or for you to see your friends get hurt."
no subject
almost neveralways known that the others had been there. He wasn't quite sure why Hisoka wanted to protect him so much, but he visually relaxed a little when it seemed that was all the Meister wanted. "That's all?" Yuuri asked before resting against the backs of his legs.
Glancing back to Sara, Yuuri tried to smile naturally, but it came out a little more awkward than intended, "You probably haven't met Hisoka yet, have you?" His attention shifted back over to the Meister in question as Yuuri explained, "He's a Meister I met a few weeks ago..."
no subject
"...And why is he here?" It came out a bit harsher than he typically would have liked to sound when Yuuri was present, and about something that Yuuri was evidently friendly with (for some reason), but...well, seriously?
no subject
He fixed Yuuri's bedmate with a cool gaze at the harsh tone. "Like I said, I'm here to protect Yuuri," he replied in a cool voice. "Haven't you heard that people disappear from their own apartments overnight? I'm making sure that doesn't happen to Yuuri while he sleeps."
no subject
The mention of people disappearing during the night caused Yuuri's heart to clench painfully. It only seemed to remind him of Wolfram's disappearance, but he quickly shook his head and tried to smile disarmingly. "Aa you don't have to worry about that happening," he muttered. "I'm not going anywhere, so I don't really need anyone looking after me."
no subject
"Regardless, I'm here," Sara pointed out, narrowing his eyes at Hisoka. "Every night. So your 'help' really isn't necessary."
no subject
He raised an eyebrow at Sara. "Really?" he asked in an amused voice. "Yuuri shook you awake, afraid because he saw something in the room. Just how long exactly did it take for you to wake up? Neither of you knew I was in the room until Yuuri woke up. Neither of you heard me come in. Neither of you know how exactly long I've been here for. What makes you believe that your enemies would be any less stealthy?" his tone grew cooler as he spoke, his slitted, unblinking gaze not leaving Sara's.
no subject
Hisoka's reply, however, caused him to fall silent in surprise while the other two spoke. Pulling himself out of it, Yuuri shook his head before glancing between the two of them. "I don't think that this is anything to be fighting over," he said while trying to calm the situation. "I haven't had any trouble during the night, and I doubt I will in the future. And as Sara says, he's here with me. I know you're only trying to do what's right, but I'm really not in any danger."
no subject
Saralegui was distressed, Yuuri confused. The third voice was unfamiliar, but the tone was enough to have the young ninja's eyes narrowing. He knew that purr, even if he didn't know who was making the sound. The man was leaning against the door, and while Sasuke was strong, he wouldn't be able to force the door to open inward when this stranger could lean back and physics simply wouldn't allow it to happen.
So excersizing all of his skills, he quietly exited the balcony- and entered the way the stranger had. Through the open window. No doubt the intrusion was unwelcome, but as soon as his feet hit the carpet Sasuke lunged across the room, kunai drawn. There was no way to tell how quickly this man could move, but his first plan was to surprise and incapacitate. Attacking from the front left him at a disadvantage, but the unexpectedness, his swiftness, and the glare of light behind him worked for him. He had every intention of crowding the stranger where he rested, and pressing the blade to his throat, and angrily meeting his gaze.
You didn't just sneak into an Uchiha's apartment unscathed.

"Sasuke!" He was already sitting up a bit straighter, whatever vestiges of sleep had been left in him quickly banished. Had it been anyone else that his weapon was attacking in the middle of his bedroom, his tone might have been more scolding, but somehow, most likely because it was Hisoka and he was infinitely creepy and he'd broken in, the only emotion that slipped into his tone was relief, embarrassingly enough.
no subject
Hisoka didn't need any special abilities to know that the only entrance that the person - Sasuke, Hisoka guessed - would come through would be the window. Not a wise choice. Windows were so predictable. Hisoka didn't bother to look towards the person lunging at him. Instead he reached behind him just as swiftly, swinging open the door as he lightly somersaulted. He heard Sara's gasp of relief, and smiled inwardly. Seemed he'd managed to put the little princess on edge.
"You really shouldn't randomly attack people," he said calmly as he squatted atop the door, brushing at a tiny hole near the base of his pants where the kunai had nicked the material as he'd jumped. "What if you got hurt? I'm sure Yuuri would be upset." There was a slightly dangerous undertone to his voice in the last statement.
no subject
Yuuri was up and moving off the bed in that same moment. He couldn't just sit there and allow for others to fight, even if he could understand Sasuke's reasoning.
"Stop this, all of you! I don't want to see any of you fighting, especially not over a misunderstanding," He called out before turning his attention up to Hisoka, "I know that you mean well, but I'm fine and I don't need anyone looking after me." It wasn't even his apartment, and he couldn't help but feel guilty causing both Sara and Sasuke all of these problems.
no subject
The kunai turned over, changing grip in his hand, and he watched Hisoka not unlike a cat watched a bird. He noted the tone, and his mouth twisted into a sneer. Even as Yuuri jumped out of bed, Sasuke stepped to the side and put himself between the two kings and this clown.
"You weren't invited here, get the fuck out of my apartment," the young ninja interrupted Yuuri, voice low. It would be easy for people not to take him seriously, hell, Sasuke was used to it- but there was something in his expression, in the dark of his eyes that spoke of a danger and experience a child his age shouldn't possess. Whether or not he could beat Hisoka didn't matter. What it came down to, was he would find a way to inflict the most damage possible.

"Really?" He shook his head, amused. "You are too naive, Yuuri," he said in an amused voice, completely ignoring Sasuke's threats. He waggled a finger at the youth. "You're in a war".
He sighed in mock dejection.
"However, since everyone has woken up, and you seem to have some very dedicated bodyguards, I'll leave you to have breakfast."
Hisoka looked over towards Sara, and smiled. "I'm trusting you to look after him at night, princess," he purred at Sara in a friendly voice, but with a veiled undertone which could be translated as 'If anything happens to Yuuri during the night, I'm holding you responsible.'
He flicked a card lightly at Sara's feet as he gracefully leaned backwards, slowly falling off the door not unlike a lithe and agile cat. As he turned in the air, he grabbed the door handle, closing the door behind him and leaving the others inside the room.
He audibly walked over to the front door and exited, closing it with a loud click so that the three remaining in the bedroom could be rest assured he had actually left.
If Sara looked at the card, he's see it was the Queen of Spades. A smile slipped across Hisoka's face. How fitting.
no subject
He opened his mouth to speak up again, but Hisoka continued on before he could interject. The card was thrown, and he watched as it flicked over and disappeared beyond his view to land at Sara's feet.
Looking unsettled as Hisoka left, Yuuri slumped back down against the mattress as he muttered, "I'm sorry."
