He sees you when you're sleeping...[closed]

Characters: Hisoka, Yuuri, Sara, and later, Sasuke
Location: Yuuri, Sara and Sasuke's apartment
Rating: It's Hisoka. Let's go M15+.
Time: 29th October - very early morning
Description: Hisoka is making sure Yuuri stays safe...by watching him and Sara sleep.

Hisoka hadn't had any problems getting into the apartment - he was, after all, a hunter. A smirk crept across his lips. Not everyone would find it so easy to get into an apartment full of people without waking them, let alone a bedroom. He was sitting on the floor, leaning against the closed door, his eyes silver slits watching the rise and fall of two bodies sleeping. Yuuri looked quite cute as he slept.

Hisoka wasn't happy about the golden haired person he was sleeping with however. No mind. Hisoka always got what he wanted, and the fact that he'd been in the room most of the night already without either of them waking was a sign that he could have killed Sara if he wanted to.

But he didn't. Not yet anyway.

The gloom of the room was slowly growing lighter as the dawn neared.

His search for Wolfram had ended up as he'd thought it would, and it had left the young Maou both emotionally and physically drained when he'd gone to bed the night before. The young Maou slept soundly throughout the night, and it was because of that, that he didn't notice the other occupant in the room when he woke.

Stretching his arms high above him as he yawned, Yuuri tried to remain as quiet as possible so as not to wake his bed companion. Sara had been too kind already in allowing him to remain with them in the apartment, that the very least he could do was move around without waking his close friend.

He dropped his arms back down to his sides after his yawn had ended. Rubbing at his sleepy eyes, it wasn't until he swung his legs out from beneath the blankets that he felt that something was off. "Huh?" He muttered questioningly to himself before glancing around the room. It was then that he caught sight of something off in front of the bedroom door.

It was dark in the room, considering that it was the moons turn out today, but it didn't stop him from knowing that someone was there. His heart instantly picked up in speed as his eyes widened, and he threw his arms out to the side in alarm. Don't panic, don't panic...

"EEeeeeeh?!" He screeched loudly. Alright, too late for not panicking. Eyes still wide, Yuuri didn't hesitate in shaking Sara awake as he said in a panic, "There's something in our room! Sasuke! That better not be you!"

Because, who else would it be?

Morning was not Saralegui's best time of the day. At all. It had never been a problem back home, where no one but Belias saw him so early and he never left his room until he was dressed and fed and well-awake. Here, however, where he didn't have as much privacy and was expected to be up early each morning for training and missions, it was something of an issue. But he couldn't exactly make himself just not be a heavy sleeper and a slow waker, right?

Even at a more normal hour of the morning, he would have been groggy, so this was just ungodly, really. Stirred from his sleep by Yuuri's frantic shaking, the king groaned and rolled over without urgency, lifting his head blearily. Half-awake, he only caught the tail end of Yuuri's words, and scowled.

"Tell Sasuke to get out..." he mumbled, lifting a hand to rub at his eyes.

He might have felt bad for waking Sara up if he hadn't been panicking at the unknown mass off to the side. As it was, it was the last thing on Yuuri's mind as Sara finally began to stir.

"But wh--" Yuuri's voice trailed off as he recognised the mysterious speaker. How it happened, no one knew, but his eyes seemed to widen even further as recognised the Meister.

"H-H-Hisoka?!" The purr was enough to cause a shiver to run down his spine, and he froze much like a deer in headlights. "W-what are you doing in our bedroom?"

[identity profile] lavenderglasses.livejournal.com 2011-03-21 12:37 pm (UTC)(link)
He wasn't quite aware enough yet to fully absorb or respond to Hisoka's jab, but he did at least pick up that it was most definitely not Sauske's voice, and Yuuri did sound pretty panicked. The blond blinked again, frowning as he tried to focus on the stranger and force himself into wakefulness? "Who...?"

There was a sinking feeling inside when it came to Hisoka being not only in their room, but in the apartment in general. While he would try and see the good side to the Meister across the room, the young Maou couldn't help but feel constantly cautious around Hisoka. The fact that Sara was unwillingly pulled in didn't settle his nerves either, but that didn't stop Yuuri's expression from hardening lightly as he crawled across to kneel half-protectively in front of the other king.

"Thank you for your kind offer, but I don't need any protection," Yuuri said in response. There was something about the way that Hisoka spoke about apologising that put Yuuri on edge, but he couldn't quite put his finger on it.

"Is there something you need?" He said instead of speaking any further about Sara's awakening.

[identity profile] lavenderglasses.livejournal.com 2011-03-21 01:08 pm (UTC)(link)
All he had really taken in so far was that this was a friend of Yuuri's ("friend" being used very lightly, as Yuuri was friends with everyone anyway) and that he was very much not welcomed there at that moment. That was enough, however, even for his sleep-addled mind.

"Yuuri," he murmured as he sat himself upright and laid a questioning hand on the other king's should, voice low only for his friend's ears, "What's going on?"

[identity profile] a-r0yal-flush.livejournal.com 2011-03-26 03:12 am (UTC)(link)
Well... Hisoka did have a point, but he couldn't help but feel a little unnerved that someone was actually watching him sleep... well... so blatantly watching him sleep. He was used to Conrad, Gwendal or the others doing it, but he'd almost never always known that the others had been there.

He wasn't quite sure why Hisoka wanted to protect him so much, but he visually relaxed a little when it seemed that was all the Meister wanted. "That's all?" Yuuri asked before resting against the backs of his legs.

Glancing back to Sara, Yuuri tried to smile naturally, but it came out a little more awkward than intended, "You probably haven't met Hisoka yet, have you?" His attention shifted back over to the Meister in question as Yuuri explained, "He's a Meister I met a few weeks ago..."

[identity profile] lavenderglasses.livejournal.com 2011-03-26 03:40 am (UTC)(link)
Yuuri might have been extremely, astonishingly, painfully dim, but Sara certainly wasn't, and Hisoka's explanations did nothing to calm him. It was blatantly creepy, actually (and that said a lot, coming from Saralegui), and when Yuuri responded to it with a "That's all?" and a smile, the human king gave his friend the most incredulous look.

"...And why is he here?" It came out a bit harsher than he typically would have liked to sound when Yuuri was present, and about something that Yuuri was evidently friendly with (for some reason), but...well, seriously?

[identity profile] a-r0yal-flush.livejournal.com 2011-03-26 04:36 am (UTC)(link)
Well, Yuuri would assume that Hisoka was here out of some sort of protection thing, even if the young Maou was still a little disturbed by the Meister's appearance. "I don't really know why--" Yuuri said, but his words trailed off when it seemed that Hisoka wanted to answer as well.

The mention of people disappearing during the night caused Yuuri's heart to clench painfully. It only seemed to remind him of Wolfram's disappearance, but he quickly shook his head and tried to smile disarmingly. "Aa you don't have to worry about that happening," he muttered. "I'm not going anywhere, so I don't really need anyone looking after me."

[identity profile] lavenderglasses.livejournal.com 2011-03-26 04:41 am (UTC)(link)
He only frowned at Yuuri's gentle response, and immediately followed it with a rather snappish one of his own.

"Regardless, I'm here," Sara pointed out, narrowing his eyes at Hisoka. "Every night. So your 'help' really isn't necessary."

[identity profile] a-r0yal-flush.livejournal.com 2011-03-26 05:13 am (UTC)(link)
The last thing he wanted to do was cause any problems here. While it was a nice gesture for Hisoka to give, Yuuri really didn't think that someone watching over him was necessary. Besides, he did have Conrad here for that, so it wasn't as though he wasn't protected.

Hisoka's reply, however, caused him to fall silent in surprise while the other two spoke. Pulling himself out of it, Yuuri shook his head before glancing between the two of them. "I don't think that this is anything to be fighting over," he said while trying to calm the situation. "I haven't had any trouble during the night, and I doubt I will in the future. And as Sara says, he's here with me. I know you're only trying to do what's right, but I'm really not in any danger."

The moment Sasuke walked into the apartment from spending the night elsewhere he knew something was wrong. While he couldn't quite put his finger on what it was, the feel of the apartment was bizarre, and he stopped as soon as he crossed the threshold. When he heard the unfamiliar voice, his suspicions were peaked. Being the only person vacant from the apartment it wasn't hard to guess where it was coming from, and he silently went to the closed door of Yuuri and Saralegui's room.

Saralegui was distressed, Yuuri confused. The third voice was unfamiliar, but the tone was enough to have the young ninja's eyes narrowing. He knew that purr, even if he didn't know who was making the sound. The man was leaning against the door, and while Sasuke was strong, he wouldn't be able to force the door to open inward when this stranger could lean back and physics simply wouldn't allow it to happen.

So excersizing all of his skills, he quietly exited the balcony- and entered the way the stranger had. Through the open window. No doubt the intrusion was unwelcome, but as soon as his feet hit the carpet Sasuke lunged across the room, kunai drawn. There was no way to tell how quickly this man could move, but his first plan was to surprise and incapacitate. Attacking from the front left him at a disadvantage, but the unexpectedness, his swiftness, and the glare of light behind him worked for him. He had every intention of crowding the stranger where he rested, and pressing the blade to his throat, and angrily meeting his gaze.

You didn't just sneak into an Uchiha's apartment unscathed.

He'd opened to mouth to make a retort -- what exactly that retort was, he wasn't quite sure, but he'd always been good at improvisation -- but a hint of movement at the corner of his vision distracted him and then suddenly his partner was in the room diving at Hisoka.

"Sasuke!" He was already sitting up a bit straighter, whatever vestiges of sleep had been left in him quickly banished. Had it been anyone else that his weapon was attacking in the middle of his bedroom, his tone might have been more scolding, but somehow, most likely because it was Hisoka and he was infinitely creepy and he'd broken in, the only emotion that slipped into his tone was relief, embarrassingly enough.

All of his attention and focus had gone into trying to sort everything out, that he hadn't know that Sasuke was there until the ninja was bursting through the window. His eyes widened in fear for Sasuke as he watched the ninja leap in to attack. He knew that his friend was more than capable, but there was just something so off about Hisoka, that it had Yuuri put on edge.

Yuuri was up and moving off the bed in that same moment. He couldn't just sit there and allow for others to fight, even if he could understand Sasuke's reasoning.

"Stop this, all of you! I don't want to see any of you fighting, especially not over a misunderstanding," He called out before turning his attention up to Hisoka, "I know that you mean well, but I'm fine and I don't need anyone looking after me." It wasn't even his apartment, and he couldn't help but feel guilty causing both Sara and Sasuke all of these problems.

[identity profile] blindingrevenge.livejournal.com 2011-03-26 02:27 pm (UTC)(link)
Sasuke expected the dodge. He'd taken the predictable way in because of the quick calculation and the assumptions he could make about this enemy he didn't know. It was morning and the others were just waking up, so whatever damage this man could have done, he'd chosen not to. Sasuke, while he'd attacked and the look on his face was certainly one that promised a follow through if provoked, mostly intended on threatening this man into leaving. The apartment may not be much, but it was his, and the people in it- to a certain extent- were his responsibility.

The kunai turned over, changing grip in his hand, and he watched Hisoka not unlike a cat watched a bird. He noted the tone, and his mouth twisted into a sneer. Even as Yuuri jumped out of bed, Sasuke stepped to the side and put himself between the two kings and this clown.

"You weren't invited here, get the fuck out of my apartment," the young ninja interrupted Yuuri, voice low. It would be easy for people not to take him seriously, hell, Sasuke was used to it- but there was something in his expression, in the dark of his eyes that spoke of a danger and experience a child his age shouldn't possess. Whether or not he could beat Hisoka didn't matter. What it came down to, was he would find a way to inflict the most damage possible.

[identity profile] lavenderglasses.livejournal.com 2011-03-26 03:17 pm (UTC)(link)
Pretty much ignoring Yuuri's pleas for peace, Sara was already scrambling out of the bed and to Sasuke's side, a hand hovering over his shoulder like he wanted to get a hold on him but was afraid he would interrupt something. He couldn't even say if it was necessary or not -- with any luck, the clown would just leave as asked and all would be fine -- but it was a comfort thing; he didn't keep his sword in the bedroom (something he would definitely be changing) and more than anything right then he just wanted his Weapon on hand.

[identity profile] a-r0yal-flush.livejournal.com 2011-05-05 10:06 am (UTC)(link)
Yuuri gaze slid over to momentarily regard Sara as the other king slid from the bed to go and join the other Weapon. He didn't like this situation at all, not only did Sara wake up to this surprise, but Sasuke was upset.

He opened his mouth to speak up again, but Hisoka continued on before he could interject. The card was thrown, and he watched as it flicked over and disappeared beyond his view to land at Sara's feet.

Looking unsettled as Hisoka left, Yuuri slumped back down against the mattress as he muttered, "I'm sorry."
