He who trims himself to suit everyone [OPEN]

Description: Open post for anyone who wants CR with Rise or Mulan! If any of you are interested in CR with Winry check out this log. Rise will be in Northern Lights hosting a small information session. There will be signs outside leading to it so if your character is interested in learning more about this world/shibusen/meisters and weapons/witches/what have ye Rise is willing to provide.
Mulan will be wandering around Death City without her Ping disguise for the first time so if your characters know Ping expect a lot of awkwardness. In fact expect a lot of awkwardness either way since Mulan is a scared little duckling.
Please let me know who you want in your subject! And for Mulan a location. Keeping to action this time around and damn this description is too long.
Rise
[Set up in the shopping districts were signs calling out to the recruits, informing them of an information session that was being held at 'Northern Lights'. Directions to said place where found on all of them.
Northern Lights was the international restaurant found in the shopping district, set up by the former country of Canada more commonly known as Matthew Williams, and now maintained by his once partner Rise Kujikawa.
Rise had talked about setting up some sort of information session quite a while ago but it was only now that it was actually happening. Some extra tables had been set up before the stage that contained free munchies and drinks of all kinds. The restaurant was still going, with the other half still serving customers who wanted something a little more filling, or who weren't interested in the information session.
Rise was sitting at the stage dressed in a simple, white summer dress, pants and sandals. Mostly she was answer questions to whoever approached her, but occassionally she would go around to see who had come, and to see if she could help them in any way.]
Mulan
[Mulan felt naked. It had been over two years since she had last allowed herself to dress femininely. Not for lack of desire, but simply because she hadn't thought it a possibility. It was liberating in one sense, but it also gave her a paranoia that she was being looked at by everyone. Ironically enough her fear that she was being watched was absolutely justified, but not for the reasons she thought. It wasn't the fact that she was wearing a green and blue peasant dress, or that her hair was unbound, or even that while she had forgone her armor, her training sword remained strapped to her side.
It was the fact that she was looking like she wanted nothing more than to hide under a rock. Her body was tense, her gait was exaggerated as if she were trying very hard to make herself seem taller than she was.
This was all reminding her horribly of when she first entered the army. Only this time she had to learn how to be herself again.
Which, sadly seemed to be easier said than done]

[Not quite sure where that came from; he's not the type to compliment other people out of the blue, but he feels that it might be the right thing to say in this case - this look does suit her, far more than her tight bun and deeper voice.] But, is this okay? What if people recognize you?

It is alright. After a lot of thinking--and a lot of talking I have finally realized how foolish I have been acting as of late, and what a grave mistake I nearly made. I have abandoned attempting to alter myself and...and am trying to just be who I am.

[--which he has to temper belatedly, realizing only after he'd spoken that he's still not sure if Mulan's entirely all right with it. He schools his expression to something more subdued, more concerned.]
I mean, as long as it's a decision you made, and as long as you're fine with it. Have you talked to anyone else about this? China? Your guardian?

Well it was just something that really touched her.]
Mushu and sheng? Yes I have talked to both of them. Mushu is very happy. My conversation with China. [she pauses, frowning a little] It went better than I had expected but I feel he was disappointed.
But I feel he was disappointed at my deception. Not that I was. [she just looked down at herself] So I cannot hold him at fault. [not that she ever would, even if he was in the wrong]

China should be all right. [This he says after a pause.] He didn't like me at first, too, but I think he's warmed up to me. Just keep talking to him. [Another pause, and Kurapika makes a face here.] And I still don't know what this Mushu person looks like.

As for China...I do hope you are right. I have been rather concerned for him as of late, he seems to have become more secluded than usual, so I fear my revelation may have come at an inappropriate time.
[At the comment about Mushu she considers for a moment. She has no qualms about telling Kurapika about Mushu, she trusts him, but she knows Mushu might not be all that happy about him] Much like myself, Mushu has his secrets he wishes to keep. It is not my right to go about revealing them without his express permission but. I feel in time he will reveal himself to you, for all the help that you have given me.

[He's mostly teasing. The gentleman in him doesn't want to let Mulan carry anything, but he's not about to belittle her now that she's dressed as her true gender. Anyway, he's aware that she's strong and capable, and so he waits for her to move while he thinks about what to say regarding China.]
As for China... yes, just keep talking to him, give him a chance to get to know you again. He won't be able to resist warming up to you again since you're his citizen.
