[ Closed | Mission | Andorra, Europe ]
Characters: Rhode Kamelot & Rokudo Mukuro
Location: Andorra, Europe
Rating: PG
Time: January 24, all day
Description: Sick days are all well and good when they're needed, but after a string of bad luck and injuries, Mukuro & Rhode are back on the mission roster to get #29.
It was a bit chilly in Andorra, even for January. Mukuro had likely managed to warm up with all the fighting and moving about, but sitting in Weapon form and focusing on her ability didn't provide Rhode with much opportunity for aerobics.
Rhode was thankful that she'd bundled up in her goosedown coat as she slipped out of her Weapon form, taking a moment to lick the kishin egg's blood from her hand before pulling her mittens out of her pocket and slipping them onto her chilly fingers. It was easy enough to snag the soul from where it was floating above the eviscerated mess that had once been the monster, once she picked her way through the bloody mess without getting her boots bloody. One big swallow, and that was that- She turned around to face her Meister with a smile, hopping over the gore to return to his side.
"One more!" She chirped, holding up a finger (though it wasn't very useful, since her fingers were covered by one solid mitten anyways) to show him. "One more, and then we have thirty. I think thirty deserves something special, don't you? Treats, or a party, perhaps."

"Does that not mean that you should meet with them more? So that you can be certain. So that they can discover more about you."
no subject
"I just haven't decided, yet. What I want them to think of me. Gin is... well, he's not going to be a challenge. But Hitsugaya doesn't seem to be the sort to like our sort at all." She paused, considering her next words before continuing.
"I think that, perhaps, if I were... nicer... to him, he would like it. And perhaps he'd decide we were friends. But I imagine people would be put out if they noticed a difference between how I treat most of them and how I would treat him. I'm not entirely inclined to start playing sweet with every idiot in this town, either."
no subject
"Do you want them both, or will you be content with just one of them?"
no subject
Rhode frowned, tugging her hand out of his pocket and taking a moment to attempt getting her hair to stand up a bit more.
"I just think that some... some allies might be useful. Eventually."
no subject
Since you could abuse friends. And all.
no subject
She sniffed indignantly, wandering back around to his front side once again.
"And most people in this city wouldn't like to have much to do with me, if they knew anything at all."
no subject
"Most people in Death City are not worth your time anyway."
no subject
"Most people in the world aren't worth my time, or yours. But we're getting our power now, and it will only get better the more missions we go on. Now I want to have more. We already know they're all idiots, so why don't we use them for something?"
no subject
He had very little doubt about that. Death Scythes, after all, appeared to be granted with certain liberties.

She let out a dramatic little sigh, lower lip coming out just a bit as she glanced to one side.
"I miss playing my games. It's been ages, you know, and all of you are Players that I spend time with. I just think having some pieces to play with would be nice again, sooner rather than later."
no subject
Most everyone else was BORING, in Mukuro's not-so-humble opinion.

Rhode meandered over to lean against his side, looking up to him with an innocent expression.
"And people are willing to do all sorts of mad things for the sake of cute little girls."
no subject
"Yes, that's quite true."
Briefly, Nea Walker came to mind.
no subject
"I just want to see what happens. It's not as if anything will change if it doesn't work. I already have all the real friends I need in this world, and you know exactly what I'm like."
no subject
Rhode was so totally his. No one was going to take that away from him, in Mukuro's opinion.
no subject
She grinned, leaning back to look up at her Meister as well as she could from this position.
no subject
More like he already HAD, but...
no subject
Rhode positively beamed, closing her eyes and giggling quietly as she tugged at his coat to try and bring it around her.
"You're terribly sweet." She let out of a soft hum, nuzzling back against him. "I'd kill for you, too."
no subject
"Perhaps we should get you a coat in this place before we leave. It can count as our souvenir."
no subject
She sighed, pushing herself upright and turning so her cheek could rest against his chest as she wrapped her arms around him beneath his jacket.
"I have a perfectly good coat at home, anyways. I just like how warm you are."
no subject
He glanced down a her, looking curious.
no subject
"... A bureau, perhaps? Or a coffee table for the living room."
no subject
"A coffee table is going to be a little hard to transport, you know."
no subject
'No' isn't the answer she wants to hear.
"They can send it on a ship, or something."
no subject
"Yes, I suppose that's possible."
