[OPEN] Earthquake Event

It's early in the morning -- just after morning training -- when the ground beneath Death City shakes violently in what most of you might recognize as an earthquake. It's not a particularly huge one for the more experienced of the guests, but it sends cracks shooting through the cobblestoned ground of Death City and up the sides of some buildings. A small handful of structures, mostly those that have been abandoned in the course of this war or the very old ones, take the most damage and topple over or crumble at their foundations.

The earthquake lasts no more than half a minute, but the vibrations and aftershocks last through the day. Death City's streets become full of holes, from those the size of apples to what could be described as deep ditches. The greatest damage, however, is the commercial sector, which becomes flooded as the waterways take damage and spill water into the streets. Shibusen's alarms blare out and quick, urgent orders to fix the waterways and search for the injured or anyone trapped in rubble filter in through all networks.

[She sounds - guess what - pissed.] You are slow!

[And secretly she is so relieved to hear his voice] Where are you, I'm coming to meet you.

Tch! [He's glad you are alright too, Saya.] I'm near the shopping district. Where are you?

[sayatakagi]

Hospital. I'll be there in a second, don't move.

[and she doesn't even give him a chance to answer, because Saya turns off the communicator and runs off to find him]

[He's not promising anything. If he sees someone that needs help, he's going to help them.]

[sayatakagi]

[Damnit, you stubborn idiot!]

[And Saya arrives later on. She had dislocated her right shoulder earlier, but it was back in place - it was still sore and hurting, but not as bad. She looks around, looking for him]

Where is that muscle-head...?!

[naniwarocky]

[He's still there. He's just..stepping out of one of the near by shops. He was checking to make sure no one hurt themselves inside..he thought he would get back out before Saya arrived. Clearly he was wrong.]

[sayatakagi]

[when Saya sees him, she frowns and quickly comes closer] You really can’t stay put, can you?

[naniwarocky]

I thought I heard someone calling for help.

[Saya looked alright for the most part. No injuries that he could see on her. So he couldn't help but feel a little relieved.]

[sayatakagi]

[When he is closer Saya wraps her arms around him and hugs Sendo - ignoring the pain in her arm. What, she was worried.]

Idiot.

[naniwarocky]

[The sudden hug takes him a little by surprise. Just be careful of his ribs.]

S-Saya.... [He returns the hug.] I'm sorry for not checking in sooner. You didn't get hurt, did you?

[sayatakagi]

Just a dislocated shoulder. ["Just" she says. Getting it back in place really hurt.]

[she finally lets go of him] And you?

[naniwarocky]

Nothing that i can't handle. But shouldn't you be at the hospital making sure your shoulder is alright?

[sayatakagi]

I'm fine. The hospital is full of people in worse state than I am; me being there is more of a nuisance than any help.

[she glances at him, trying to make sure if he was hurt of not] ... are you really okay?

[naniwarocky]

Then you should be somewhere resting instead of out here checking on me.

[ He isn't going to an outright lie to her and say if he is.] It isn't something that i can't deal with. And like you said, the hospital has bigger things to deal with.

[sayatakagi]

I'm fine...! [she didn't want to go back to the Hospital - that place was depressing - and she understood why he didn't either]

... what are you doing, anyway? Helping people?

[naniwarocky]

Well I still want you to go once everything settles down.

[Sendo gives a little nod to her question.]

Yeah. Ever since the earthquake hit.

[sayatakagi]

That's so you. And I've been looking for you all over!

[naniwarocky]

I didn't mean to make you worry about me, Saya. [But yeah, he knows he should have checked in sooner.]

Have you been back to the apartment yet?

[sayatakagi]

I was there during the earthquake. I turned into my weapon form, that's how I escaped without being hurt. [too badly, at least] The apartment is a mess.

[naniwarocky]

[Sendo doesn't know if it is a good or bad thing that he was out. Since he couldn't have easily escaped being seriously hurt like she could.]

I'm not looking forward to cleaning that place up.

[sayatakagi]

Neither am I. [anyway, Saya pats Sendo's arm] Come on, I'll help you looking for people who might have been hurt.

[naniwarocky]

Alright, come on. We might be able to make use of your megaphone voice to contact survivors trapped in the buildings.

[sayatakagi]

[DFJHDBGJFBGJ!! Oh look, Saya's screaming now]

I don't have a megaphone voice!!

[naniwarocky]

[fksdjf Always so loud.] You realize you are using your megaphone voice right now?

[sayatakagi]

This is my angry voice! Because you make me angry!
