Group Date at the Cafe~
Characters:
fearless_tech,
pianoman_soul, EVERYONE ELSE.
Location: Death By Pastry Cafe.
Rating: G for now.
Time: July 20th, early morning.
Description: Soul and Maka try to hook everyone up before the big battle.
Upon entering the cafe, one may notice a large spread of various desserts laid out on each table. Everything looked clean and tidy, and Maka was currently circling around every now and then, making sure everything was in place.
She never tried helping others form partnerships before, but hopefully it wouldn't be too difficult. She had her Soul Perception to see who may match well, and the trust games she had planned out might help strengthen bonds. Not that she went into too much detail about that.
"How does everything look?" she asked Soul.
He looked up at her from his seat, mostly preoccupied with his cupcake. He just nodded and gave her a thumbs up.
If anything, she thought this would prove interesting, and hopefully helpful despite it being short notice.
Doors now open, they were ready to begin.
[ooc: SORRY THIS IS LATE. But anyway, a quick note - since Soul and Maka were put in charge of helping people form partnerships, they're likely to be jumping in and out of threads, trying to introduce people and whatnot. Basically playing host. Oh, and feel free to use [action] tags if you prefer that!]

Re: ...what other games ARE there
((ooc; maybe we can try one of these (http://wilderdom.com/games/TrustActivities.html)? Any catch your eye?))

[a the question she nods]
Mmhmm! It's always so hot in this city.

She's really happy that her home is such a nice guy--and he was one of the people who had destroyed a Kishin. Matilda recalled the story Prussia had told her well, it had been a very vivid narration after all.
While he was getting a drink she looked towards the front now that she was on a seat and able to. Trying to catch each other probably wouldn't be a good game for them, but some of them were doing other things--a staring contest??
Maybe they could try that]
no subject
Thank you for waiting. [he sits down] So, what kind of games would be fun for you?
no subject
Most of the games look like they might be too hard [ah that was life on the short lane]
But some people have been doing something like a staring contest, maybe that?
no subject
I see. [turns back to Matilda] We can do that.

[As she looked at him with slight shyness she asked] What's it like to be England?
no subject
It's very different from being human. [he wants to make it easy to explain, but not make it sound like a bad thing. Because he loves being a country. It's the only thing he's known up until recently] For one thing, I am not injured easily, though if my people are suffering, I suffer as well. [examples of this were the Black Plague, as well as being bombed in certain areas]
no subject
How do you mean?
no subject
I am directly tied to the thoughts of my citizens. Their goals are my goals, and vice-versa.
no subject
What are yo--our goals?

Thank you

E-er! Are you alright?
no subject
Uh-huh. It's just that no one has ever said something like that to me before.

.........
[silent for a moment, just staring. And then he reaches across the table to place his hand on hers. You don't need to worry anymore. He is here for you...]

I... I don't want to make light of a bad situation, or put down your world... But. [sigh] Maybe you were brought here to show other people how special you are.
