Characters: Rhode, Watson, open to Mukuro
Location: Rhode and Mukuro's apartment
Rating: Giiiiirl
Time: Jan 21st, morning
Description: Watson comes by to see how his patient is doing.
It was going to be a day spent outdoors today, he felt. Many of the patients from the European missions had left the clinic's premises, as well as other patients from before that, and Watson was following up on their whereabouts one by one. Some of them would fail to come in for a check if it was convenient for them to forget the appointment, after all.
The first on his list was one Rhode Kamelot (and perhaps her partner if he was present -- Rokudo Mukuro had been his patient for some few days). He stood outside the girl's door at the moment, making sure that he had the correct address before knocking with his cane.

Watson shifted to stretch his aching leg in front of him, absentmindedly rubbing at the knot on his thigh where a bullet had once gone.

She paused for a moment, staring down at her bag of candy for a moment. The fact that he was rubbing his leg didn't escape her attention, though- After a moment, she pulled out a yellow piece (the type she didn't like, and ended up setting aside anyways), and tossed it onto the coffee table between them.
"But if they didn't have the Witches, there would be other wars going on. Humans love fighting each other for all kinds of reasons."

He raised his eyebrows at the candy and reached for it, the wrapper crinkling between his fingers.
"Thank you," Watson said, fiddling with it for a moment. "And while my better nature would like to deny that statement, experience tells me that it's sadly very true."

Rhode grimaced slightly at his thanks, twisting her own wrapper into a long piece before tying it into a tiny knot.
"You're much easier to deal with when you're a dog, you know. Much less talking."
