EVENT: Witch Attack on the City!

Description: There's a Witch attack on the city and, to make matters worse, there's a dangerous individuals while Meister powers go completely out of control



The evening before there had been a PSA going around the network and the radio to watch out for an individual causing trouble in the city and a reminder to please stay indoors if possible.

Then around midnight something distinctly...strange happens. At first, Weapons probably won't notice, because it's only Meisters who suddenly find their powers flaring up for no apparent reason even when they're not trying to use them.

There's a two hour window where the abilities become stronger until it's practically impossible to control before the alarms in the city sound.

Kishin Eggs have been spotted entering the city in droves and this time they haven't come alone...

Takuto | Death City Heights | open to Shinji and Yako

[It was nearing two in the morning, and Takuto's room was too bright to sleep. The light wasn't coming from the window. It was emanating from Takuto's chest like a bluish X.

So, naturally, glowing like a star--and already dressed in pants, boots, and his favorite white coat--Takuto bursts into Shinji's room with quite a bit more radiance than usual.]

Shinji! Look! I'm a ginga bishounen again!!!

[And then the alarms start going off.]

W-wake up! We've got to go!

[Even if Shinji hadn't already been up himself, that is quite the dashing entrance needed to wake just about anyone up. He didn't exactly catch the first part - a little too startled and a little too preoccupied with removing the headphones in his ears to actually hear it correctly - but he at least manages to to snap to attention when things turn urgent.]

Wh-what's going on?

[Luckily he has the sense enough not to dawdle, emergencies weren't uncommon in Tokyo-3 and he knew well enough to not waste time and get to the Meister's side. As a result, he's going to look pretty silly next to Takuto while wearing pajama pants and a t-shirt, but hey. At least Shinji isn't glowing. What's up with that?]

[At least in weapon form no one will know Shinji is in his pajamas?]

I don't know, but it can't be good. [Takuto moves quickly into the living room, checking the city from the window but not seeing anything out of the ordinary yet. Hopefully it has nothing to do with the troublemaking new guest that Near warned them about.]

Come on! [And with a quick pat to a confused Firecracker, he heads swiftly to the door. There was something important he needed to check on before doing anything else: Yako.]

[Pretty much.]

R-... Right! [Without further question on that subject, Shinji follows out after Takuto. They have to be hasty, he can tell that much, but it's not enough to stop his confusion about something...]

Why are you glowing?

[Takuto turns to give Shinji a shrug over his shoulder... and despite the alarms, his grin slips back into place.]

Because I'm radiant, you know. [All the light of the Tau galaxy and all that. He used to glow like this all the time at home, Shinji. But really... he can't leave Shinji in the dark... so to speak.]

I have a dazzling soul--or at least being bright is related to my ability as a meister. Who'd have thought I'd finally get the hang of it in my sleep?

[Literally can't leave him in the dark with all that dazzling going on. It's simply not possible.

The fact that it's from a Meister ability makes sense, Shinji supposes, but there is still something a little troubling about it.]

In your sleep? [That sounds a little odd but okay.] Is now really the time for it, though?

[tauborn]

[He shrugs quickly, still rushing down the hallway and towards the stairs.] Maybe it's exactly the time for it.

[Sometimes you just know things as they happen, after all. And sometimes, things work only precisely when you need them to. It's one of the strange laws of the galaxy, at least in Takuto's experience.]

M-maybe... [Shinji remains personally unsure, but it isn't exactly his place to decide, is it? He'll just have to keep his mouth shut on the matter, not wanting to dampen Takuto's enthusiasm. One of them has to keep optimistic, after all!

Unquestioningly, he continues to follow the Meister's lead.]
