Time: 6am to 9am
Description: Training takes place every morning in the park to prepare the guests of the city for the ongoing war. It's handwaved most days, but approximately once a month this gets played out in a log. This log takes place on June 17th.

[Cloud waited as promised to help teach a weapon about their potential transformation, though he wasn't certain how successful he would be, given he was a meister. He had trained enough with Sephiroth to know the sensation intimately though, so he thought it shouldn't be too bad.

Of course, the real benefit was seeing a talking, flying pony. He was very curious about that, and he always satisfied his curiosity even unwillingly. This would just happen to work out for them both.]

After meeting with her possible future partner, Kaed, Rainbow Dash quickly made her way over to a new meeting place. Here, she was supposed to meet somepony named Cloud.

The blue pony flew by his head and landed with style. “Hey, uh, you know where I can find the half pegsus, Cloud?”

So there really was a flying talking pony in Death City. Cloud was pleased because it reminded him all too well of Nanaki who had less need for glamour and stylish entrances. At least things were spiced up here now.

"I don't know about half pegasus, but I'm Cloud," he said and took her in with a glance. "I used to know how to fly a long time ago, but it's a skill I let slide before coming here."

SADNESS. NO FRIENDS.

[She tilted her a head, a bit confused, then sighed with disappointment. ]

Guess I really am the only Pegasus pony here.

[But how could he fly without wings? Unless...]

Are you sure you're not secretly a unicorn?

You're actually the first talking pegasus I've ever seen, but if you know any more that are here, I'd be game to meet them.

[Because who wouldn't want a pile of talking, flying ponies? It was like chocobos but with less squawking and feather loss.]

Pretty positive I'm not a unicorn either. Are you really all alone here?

I'm sure all my friends will eventually come get me!

[After all, her element is loyalty and she will always remain faithful to her friends in Equestria]

Twilight probably just messed one of her new princess spells up or something.

Well, that's the spirit, I guess, though BREW might be bringing them here and not the other way around.

[He wondered how many friends she had and if they would actually get here. That would make for an interesting war.]

Spells? Your world has magic then?

[wonderdash]

Sure, but only unicorns can use magic.

[Rainbow Dash glanced at the sky and saw a cloud moving slowly on its own. She shuttered. Soooo unnatural!]

This place is kinda weird, ya know? The clouds and plants move all on their own.

[That was kind of strange, but he supposed not everyone was able to use materia on his world. Still, the idea of unicorns was as odd (but exciting) as talking pegasus.]

What do you do aside from fly if only unicorns can do magic?

[He thought this place was kind of not-weird. No random monster encounters just for walking out of town. It was eerie how quiet and peaceful things were in general.]

I can't say I've seen any different before. They don't in your world?

No way! It's up to the Pegasus ponies to take care of the weather! Back home I was totally in charge of all the weather in Ponyville.

Really? That's... weird.

[He hadn't heard of that before, though he really had to question the name of things in that one's world. He supposed it was no different from Gongaga or Nibelheim, which were named for mountain ranges.]

Did you think about things that are most important to you?

[wonderdash]

You mean besides being totally awesome and cool?

[Well, let's be honest, these were important things to her.]

Loyalty to friends, of course!

I think that's supposed to be my line.

[The corner of his lips rose in amusement because he couldn't count the number of times he had said something similar to people. They would get along just fine it seemed, so long as their egos fit in the same room.]

That's good. And what objects in your life do you cherish or at least like to have around you the most?

[wonderdash]

Hmm. That's a toughie.

[She rubbed her hoof under her chin in thought. Rainbow Dash wasn't a material kind of pony]

The Wonder Bolts costume! And I guess my Element of Harmony piece is pretty nice too.

[Well, those were two things that could work. He hoped it wasn't going to be a cloud or anything, but he could work with this, even if he couldn't show how transformation worked.]

That's good enough. We'll start with one and move to the other if necessary. Which of the two do you feel is more important to you? That's the one we'll start with.

Pfft. Element of Loyalty--no question!

[She stomps a hoof with conviction]

Friends are way more important than making any kind of big team. Even if they are super famous.

Then we'll concentrate on this element of yours. The thing with being a Weapon is that you change your physical form to match the object or weapon. You need to concentrate very hard on wanting to become that object and make the transition from one to the other. Sometimes it takes away. Sometimes people try different things... including throwing one another down some stairs.

[He doubted he could try that given that she could fly, but there were other options that worked just as well.]

So, I want you to close your eyes and think of this element. What it looks like, what it means to you, how it makes you feel. When you can picture it in your mind, focus on it entirely and see if you can feel a shift in your soul to becoming closer to it.

Excuuuuse me? [Rainbow Dash huffed her colorful mane off her face] I'm not supposed to be some silly piece of jewelry. A cool Pegasus like me is supposed to be, you know, something so totally awesome! Like a massive sword or a radical looking helmet!

Either way, you're a Weapon and Weapons tend to become something that is close to them. You can hardly be impressed with your form unless you manage to achieve it and closing your mind to possibilities isn't going to help you.

[He shrugged his shoulders a little.]

Besides, who knows what abilities you may grant. The ability to fly or something cool like that, right?

Yeah, that's true. Not like it'd matter. [She stood proudly] Even if they got my awesome flying ability--no way they'd have my skill and style.

[Still. A silly necklance?]

So, I just have to imagine being a piece of jewelry?
