He'd started at the bottom, and was now about halfway up, so that when she encountered him he was dressed in his workout gear, a bit sweaty from the workout, and breathing a bit heavy.

When she saw him, she smiled and nodded, intending on just passing by. But that hadn't been her luck at all recently. She approached him with arms outstretched to hug him, eyes closed and the beginnings of a dark blush. "I-I... I'm so sorry for this." It was all she could really say.

"Whoa there!" he said, taken aback. "You alright, miss?"

She nodded. "Ye-yes... I-I am so sorry. I just--"

"It... It's the chocolates."

"Do you have an allergy to it?" he asked, genuinely concerned. He was going on the assumption that she was clinging to him for support.

He let her take the lead up the stairs - his stride was longer, and so they should travel at her pace.

"Just part of my daily fitness routine," he says. "I'm grateful for it, really, it makes for a pretty convenience workout.
