Description: Shibusen agents head out to stop an all-out Kishin Egg attack on the citizens of Norway.

[The country had been bombarded with an influx of Kishin Eggs over the last few weeks, but Shibusen agents have been deployed to help defend Norway! These aren’t your regular Kishin Eggs though. These eggs have been feeding on the helpless human souls throughout the country, and have grown in strength and power! Be careful when going up against these foes or they might just get the better of you!

Those heading through to Norway will find there's a chill on the air. The air is so cold that it felt as though it would cut right through to your bones! So wrap yourselves up warmly.]

Battles like these were becoming all too common, and it concerned him greatly. Did this mean that the Witches were getting better at some kind of global domination? He wondered how long before all of Shibusen would collapse outside of Death City. It seemed they were called in more and more lately.

Part of him was pleased since it allowed he and Sephiroth to test their abilities and gain more Kishin souls, not that he wanted to be close to them. He didn't much care for close combat with other pairs though, mostly because he was still so used to working only with AVALANCHE and they knew each other's moves so well. There were times he wondered about those who fought.

Still, once the battle got underway, he was in the thick of things with the Masamune in hand and slicing through their enemies. Even if he knew they were supposed to be difficult, these types of Kishin Eggs no longer bothered him and it was made more apparent by the fact that neither of them lost track of themselves due to the madness.

'It appears a bit nippy out today. If it snows, want to make some snow angels once this battle is done?'

His bladed form effortlessly sliced through the flesh of the kishin eggs with each swipe Cloud made. Most battles against kishin eggs these days were easy, and it was becoming more and more apparent that he was actually getting stronger. No, they were getting stronger, and it showed with each battle they both stepped into. Sephiroth was pleased with their progression, and he felt a manner of pride in what they had worked so hard for. It was so unlike the ease of power on Gaea, and he felt a sense of accomplishment for the effort they put into this.

"Snow angels?" Sephiroth asked before chuckling lightly. "And why would we want to make such things?"

Cloud twisted aside some claws that where aimed to cut him down the center, and he moved back to use the range of the Masamune to his advantage as he drove the Kishin Egg back with a few choice swings, controlling the battle easily. There was no point in ending the fun too quickly after all.

'Why not? You're not allowed to use your wing, since that would be cheating,' he said mentally, pleased with his partner's amusement. 'Have you ever done it before?'

He wasn't quite certain just what Cloud was indicating with the entire snow angel suggestion. Wasn't that something that children only did? Although there were times where the ex-General knew well that his partner was nothing more than a child trapped in an adult's body. It was a fond thought, and one that left him chuckling lightly.

'I hardly see how it could be cheating, especially since I was once such a thing myself,' Sephiroth muttered before the amusement left his voice. While he was in Weapon form, it was easy to see that he would have been shrugging his shoulders. 'There were other focuses of my time back then.'

He relished in the sound of Sephiroth's mental amusement even as he cut through the defenses of the Kishin Egg and removed one of the four arms from its body. He stepped back, able to sense the source of his partner's amusement. 'Hey, I'm more than a kid!'

He huffed softly as he avoided a punch and watched for another opening. 'You're technically only half an angel. You only have one wing right now, remember?' He snorted with amusement himself at the reply, having known what it would be before Sephiroth spoke. 'Yes, like push-ups and being chased around the lab... wait, you were a good patient so you probably were the one to get the lollipop all the time.'

Sephiroth sent a feeling back through their connection that would give Cloud the impression that he thought otherwise. That was furthest from the case, and the few moments he did, Sephiroth was always fond of seeing such a thing in regards to his Meister.

'The key in that sentence is 'right now',' he murmured with amusement. It wasn't as though he wanted to have all seven of his wings once again, but that wouldn't stop him from reminding Cloud either. 'Hojo was hardly one to give his patient's lollipops. He merely saw it as more time to further explore.'

He mentally huffed back, forging up all of his indignation in the one noise that he sent down their link. Of course, he knew that their resonance could never hide his amusement at the banter, and he was silently living it up.

'Oh, you could pull a bunch of others out of your behind if you really wanted to?' He knew well the awe that had come from seeing that form, a moment where he faltered before anger and a need for revenge had taken him over again 'You should have wailed like a baby then. Or demanded a lollipop.'

The amusement was felt through their link despite Cloud's attempts of being difficult. It was easy for him to fall back into his arrogance, and he slide into it so well as it fed through their link. Sephiroth didn't need his facial expressions to get that playful mood across.

'I could if I wanted to, but what purpose would they serve in this form?" Sephiroth asked. They served no purpose since he still had his legs. Not that he was complaining at all, but they would be nothing but an inconvenience in that regard, and he held no doubt that Cloud would find far too much amusement out of the sight.

Cloud's following suggestion had him snorting lightly in amusement. 'Any demands would have been returned with a lollipop filled with mako and JENOVA cells.'

Ah, it was good to get Sephiroth into a playful mood, as the ex-General's natural stuffiness tended to get in the way. He wanted to play this up for all that it was worth, and that meant cutting down weaker Kishin Eggs while he more internalized himself.

'You would be very impressive? I suppose you could sweep the floor easier too.' There was something about a man who had become a half-god that amused him, mostly because he had never imagined it would take on that form. It also amused him greatly to think Sephiroth could assume that form here, and he did want to see it again.

'Well... when we finish this, I'm getting you a lollipop then. A mako-free and JENOVA-free one.' It wouldn't be hard, since there had to be a sweets shop he hadn't yet found. He wasn't big into sweets, but he would find one to get Sephiroth a lollipop.

There was an amused huff from his end at the mention of 'sweeping the floor' with his wings. Had it been anyone other than Cloud making such a suggestion, he would have simply walked off and ignored the comment. Yet there was nothing but amusement from the ex-General's side.

'I suppose that it's fortunate that we don't make that much of a mess then, hmm?' Sephiroth asked in return. Hojo would roll over in his grave if he discovered Sephiroth's half-god form doing such mundane tasks. It would have been almost worth doing it just to see.

The mention of getting a lollipop had him snorting softly. 'You forget that I have no interest in sweets,' Sephiroth said in return. 'Although there is one type that I do rather enjoy tasting.'

Cloud deflected an attack with the blade of the Masamune as he relished the amusement that they were sharing. It was a fine time for laughter, and he wasn't about to let the moment go just because they happened to be fighting. If anything, this seemed the best time.

'Well, you have far more hair than I do to shed all over the house.' He would have enjoyed seeing Sephiroth performing such mundane tasks as well, but then again, it would probably come down to some kind of sparring match with broomsticks. It wasn't like they were all childish, but they couldn't help engaging each other in a way they both knew so well.

No, he perfectly remembered that Sephiroth didn't like sweets, but he was working on the silver-haired man. 'Oh, what's that? Now I'm curious because you never seem to like any I get you.'

Sephiroth's attention never once strayed to the battle around them. He trusted Cloud's capability enough that he knew well that the blonde had more than enough skill to fight while bantering. He had never been one to talk on the battlefield, and yet that's all that he seemed to be doing every time he and Cloud went out to battle. Sephiroth supposed that it had to do more with idle hands on his end than anything else.

'I am too perfect to shed hair,' the ex-General gruffed in return. He was only half being serious, given the fact that it was rare for his hair to become damaged enough too fall out. It was a large reason to why his hair was so long to begin with.

He inwardly huffed with amusement when it appeared that Cloud had no idea as to what he was referring to. That was alright by him, and something that the ex-General sound endearing in some ways. 'If you do not know, then you will have to wait to discover the answer.'

He moved flawlessly, using the length of the Masamune to his advantage as he drove the Kishin Egg back before spearing it through where its heart should have been. All the while, he was still focusing some of his attention internally where he and Sephiroth had taken up mocking each other. It was a good way to battle.

'Too perfect? Does that mean mine will become too perfect someday too? Should I be considering growing it out?' He didn't think that he had seen much hair from Sephiroth, but it was natural for hair to be shed occasionally. He was hoping the drain would clog so he could tease his partner about that.

Now he was confused because he wanted to know. Sephiroth hadn't shown any inclination to sweets just as he didn't. To think that his partner had snuck off and found one to enjoy was just not fair! 'No, no, you have to tell me now! We can stop by on the way home and pick it up!'

'They day that your hair becomes perfect is the day that you are no longer you,' There was affection in his tone as he spoke. While he didn't care what Cloud looked like, the man could be a two-toed, one-eyed drifter with not teeth for all he cared, the ex-General was rather partial to the blonde spikes his partner was 'blessed' with. To lost that seemed like far too much of a shame in his opinion.

There was a puff of amusement before he was inwardly shaking his head. 'All good things come to those who wait,' Sephiroth murmured. He was gaining far too much enjoyment out of Cloud's obliviousness. And here he thought that he was the oblivious one. 'Besides, it will be at the apartment when we return.'

'I highly doubt that. I'll always be me no matter what colour my hair is, and if it's long, it still spikes at the top.' He was amused that Sephiroth put so much stock in how his hair went, but then again, he was rather unique. Still, he knew from experience that even long hair didn't stop the gravity-defying locks.

At this point in time, he didn't want to wait. He was in a battle here, and Sephiroth was clearly teasing him. He huffed in feigned annoyance before the second clue sounded, and the light went on in his head. 'H-hey, that's not candy!'

Sephiroth grunted in amusement at the mention that Cloud's hair would still be spiked even if it was long. The image was one that he shared with his partner, and if he would have been in his usual form, the ex-General would have shook his head to show his amusement. 'Not even the weight of long hair would detract from those spikes, hmm? Then perhaps they are your perfection,' Sephiroth said. Cloud wouldn't agree with him, but Sephiroth certainly thought so.

Cloud could feel him smirking when the blonde finally realised what he was saying. Chuckling lightly through their link, the ex-General murmured, 'No? But perhaps it is for me.'

Frowning at the imagine that Sephiroth sent him, Cloud corrected it with a mental picture of his own. He knew well what he looked like with longer hair, but it was just as obnoxious in his mind. 'Well... no. My spikes are very persistent, just like the rest of me.' He knew Sephiroth liked his hair the way that it was, which amused him.

He couldn't believe that they were suddenly making jokes like this, and he side-stepped an attack as he shook his head. 'You just don't like taking your hands off of me most of the time.'

The fact that Cloud returned the image with one of his own amused him to no end. There was almost a pit of curiosity beginning to form within the ex-General to just what Cloud would look like in reality, but he easily dismissed that thought as well. He much preferred the look his partner was currently sporting over all others. He didn't say anything in regards to Cloud's statement, but he knew that he simply didn't have to either.

'I see no fault in such a thing,' Sephiroth muttered. There was no doubt that he was smirking though, and the ex-General allowed Cloud to feel that as he said, 'I don't hear you complaining either.'

He felt the curiousness that his partner seemed to have for his image of himself, but it was mostly based on childhood. He had had long hair then, relatively speaking. He remembered it was his desperate attempt to fit in, to keep his hair under control by being able to tie it back. He had given up eventually and just accepted that he was going to look like that forever.

'Of course you wouldn't.' He could almost see that smirk in his mind, and it caused him to shake his head as he tried to think of a come-back that would allow him to win this battle of words. 'You like it when I complain and put up some resistance.'

There was no way for Cloud to win this argument in his mind, and he would make certain of that. Things were the way that they were, and Sephiroth rather liked it that way. Perhaps the tides were changing when it came to the battles that he could win?

'Perhaps,' Sephiroth muttered in reply before huffing lightly and 'turning' away - even if he was in complete Weapon form. 'It does make the end results far more rewarding.'

It became apparent to him as well that this was going to be Sephiroth's victory. He grudgingly gave up the fight, aware that it wasn't worth bickering with the ex-General about. Besides, the end result always was rewarding for them both and that was really all that mattered.

'Fine... you win. The end result is rather rewarding. I won't complain about that one bit.' Instead, he forced an erotic image down their link as a way to occupy his partner.

He almost pouted through their link when Cloud simply gave up the fight, but the ex-General managed to hold off doing just that. It seemed that his partner was not feeling competitive this day, but that was fine by him. A victory was a victory, he supposed.

Whatever other thoughts he may have had was abruptly cut short when that image came through their link. He would have narrowed his eyes had he been in human form, but instead, all he did was mutter, 'I could do far worse than that to you in reality.'

If they hadn't been occupied on the battlefield as they were, he probably would have needled Sephiroth about the sensation of pouting in their link. He knew it wasn't much of one, but the sensation had traveled. He instead cut through a few more Kishin eggs before drawing himself up to survey the battlefield.

He chuckled mentally at the fact Sephiroth seemed to stop. 'You'll have to show me when we get back, hmm? I'm interested to see what you have in mind.' He sent another image of Jenova curled on Sephiroth's chest sleeping, chuckling to himself.

Pity that he won't be able to.

'Curiosity is a dangerous aspect to have, Cloud Strife,' Sephiroth purred through their link. They hadn't done much exploring in that regard, and the ex-General had been fine with that, but that didn't mean that he couldn't tease Cloud with it either.

His train of thoughts were interrupted by the sudden image of Jenova curled up on his chest, and he narrowed his eyes at the chuckle. 'I do not see what is so entertaining.'

'I like danger, so I don't mind. Besides, won't it just lead me into your little trap faster?' He was teasing, though he knew from their playful banter that getting back to the apartment was top priority. Neither of them were eager to forget the contents of such conversations after all.

Oh, he knew it annoyed his partner about Jenova, but that was what made it all so fun. 'She's the little furry daughter you never had.'
