Location: Florence, Frankfurt, Prague and Vienna

Florence
Florence had been immediately evacuated the moment Shibusen Florence recieved word from Death City about the danger to its population. Most of its citizenry had left, but the sentries, guards, and local militia (and mafia) had stayed to bravely defend the city. These were unfortunately the ones being affected by madness, to turn against each other with the same determination they had attempted to show their duty.
The streets of central Florence are plunged in chaos, with torches lit and some structures burning. Those who have managed to resist the madness to try to salvage the museums are hardpressed to defend themselves against those that have become crazy, but the light rain in the afternoon helps.
Frankfurt
It's cold and grey in Frankfurt but the streets are busy with activity. Germany has deployed its military to assist Shibusen Frankfurt in evacuating the people into shelters and taking down those that have begun to go mad. The problem is that even with their haste, it's still not enough, and they are becoming more overwhelmed by the hour. A number of makeshift forts and shelter are scattered throughout the city, requiring help to get through the crazed people outside. Kishin eggs in random areas are taking people down one by one in a frenzied eating craze.
Prague
The Prague agents are unlucky today with the weather, with the cold and chances of light snow. They're given coats or jackets before they leave Shibusen Prague, but are quickly urged on to the northwest part of the city. The heaviest of the violence and damage becomes concentrated there by afternoon, with people boarded up in buildings and kishin eggs preying on the people outside.
Vienna
It's snowing lightly in Vienna when the agents come in, and it seems that the situation there had gone from all right to downright crazy in the minute it took for the madness wavelength to sweep the city just an hour before. There is chaos as people run from murderous citizens and the police try to take them down. The prisons are already overflowing, some with people desperate to protect themselves from attack.
It doesn't take long before the first kishin eggs appear, people who accidentally kill others and eat their souls in madness.

Raidou, what should we do? Should we go hunt for kishin eggs or should we guard one of the camps here? *because both seemed like important jobs!*

[The madness wavelenght makes the air feel heavy. Raidou grits his teeth; he can't let it get to him this time.]

What about this camp over there? They look very busy and no one is guarding them at the moment.

A scream tears through the air, followed by a howl.]

And sure enough. Three wolf-like Kishin Eggs are assaulting the camp, few clearly untrained townsfolk trying to fend them off, others desperately dragging the limp bodies of the guardsmen into the camp.]
Hold it!
[Raidou's voice diverts the Kishin Eggs' attention away from the townspeople, and, after a moment, they seem to decide the approaching human is a bigger threat.]

[With that, he heads for the first one, going in for an attack before backdashing away again. Focusing on a single one for too long would just leave his back open for the others, but with patience, they could take the beasts out little by little.]

An ungodly strong wave of madness surges in the air. Alucard can hear that voice telling him all the things he already told himself over and over, so he ignores it. He's more worried about his partner.*

[Oh no, not now. Raidou's stomach lurches and he shakes his head violently. He doesn't want to hear this again, he won't let it--]
Your abilities are pathetic compared to the ones who preceded you

[Raidou drops on the ground, losing his grip on Alucard, cowering in suffocating fear. It isn't the Kishin Eggs his arms rise to shield against - he's barely aware of them being there. It's just raw instinct, trying to have something between himself and what he knows to be worse than death, the worst kind of end...]

*The three canine things, sensing weakness, began to pad forward, tongues lolling out with eagerness.
Alucard sets himself a firm barrier between Raidou and the dogs.* Raidou! GET UP!

Alucard growled, almost as menacing as the monsters. They looked surprised.* Ard in iad, monstrule! *he howled and launched himself at the canines*

Desperate for someone, anyone to be there and not look at him like that please stop it don't leave me, Raidou makes a weak attempt at crawling to where Alucard is. The danger of the Kishin Eggs attacking doesn't cross his mind - his thoughts are far too muddled.]
...A... [His throat constricts, allowing only a choked sound come out.]

[He tries to remember. What is he doing here? Protect. He is there to protect. He always is. Protect the people. He clings to that shred of sanity. Don't think about anything else, just fight, keep everyone safe. That's how it has always been, isn't it?
He can hear the voices again. It was a grave error for you to assume the mantle of the 14th Raidou Kuzunoha.
Yet here he is. As Raidou the 14th.
And... Alucard promised to protect him. Even from them...
His legs shake, but he manages to unsteadily push himself on his feet.]

Acting on a rush that's half panic and half rage, he lunges forward with a cry and kicks the Kishin Egg, pushing it off of the dhampir. Suddenly his blood is boiling, driving away the fear - who cares what happens to him, they're not touching his partner!]

[His mind is still muddled, but now it's with anger. He dives at the other two Kishin Eggs with reckless abandon.]

Whatever it had been, it no longer existed. There is just the glory of the fight, the sweep of sword across hide and bone as they worked together.*

The detective doesn't stop his advance for a second, spinning around to slash at the Kishin Egg coming from behind and in the same movement turning back to the first one, bringing down te sword just as it tries to attack. Both Kishin Eggs are thrown back, injured.
Never one to leave such openings unused, Raidou strikes the second Kishin Egg down. One left.]

Perhaps in another state of mind, Raidou might have been satisfied with just driving the threat away from the people. Right now, though, his mind and body are both in overdrive; it's just him and Alucard, the enemy, and the rush of the battle. The Kishin Egg isn't getting away.
He barely blinks when the wolf snaps its jaws on his left arm in a desperate attempt to survive. His knee jerks up, hitting the Kishin Egg hard, enough to make it let go.
Ignoring the bleeding wounds left by the fangs, he grasps Alucard's hilt with both hands and drives the blade through the monster's hide.]
