He still wasn't used to being thanked. Even in the few times that Cloud had offered such things, Sephiroth had still found himself awkward and uncomfortable with such gratitude. Now was no different even if he hid it better. The acts that he had done were done because it needed to be, and to him such things had never needed to be given, not to him at least.

Try as he might, he found his eyes peering at her from the corner of his eyes. Nothing was said for a long while, which wasn't unusual for him. Silence was something that he never felt uncomfortable about, unlike most others who grew restless and felt the need to shift that silence away.
