Sephiroth's keen eyes remained fixated on the young female while he waited his reply. He didn't say anything, even when she finally answered with no reason at all. The attempted smile didn't bother him in the slightest. It was far better, and seemed far more honest, than any that he had ever given. Noting that fact though didn't have him lowering his gaze though, and he continued to watch her with a cautious air around him.

"People rarely seek my presence to 'fill the time'," he finally said in return before glancing away as if that would prove his point. "Curiosity, however, is why they approach or study from a distance."
