Not necessarily. It's just easier to resonate with someone you know well. If you're compatible with someone but you don't know shit about them, you can still resonate, but it wouldn't be as strong of a resonation, unless you have piece of shit friends that don't know the inside of your thinkpan from their own nook. There are certain people that aren't compatible though because I guess their personalities are too different, and something called Soul Rejection happens.
