recitings: (Drawing Rapier)

Meanwhile, from his vantage point within the Weapon, Genesis gritted his teeth as he noticed Edgeworth's hurt shoulder. Although he has had a great deal of time to get used to the fact that none of his Meisters would have the same physical endurance as he naturally does, he still couldn't help feeling frustrated that things like being hit against a wall could already cause so much pain-- and this was especially the case for Edgeworth who had not a lot of years of experience on the battlefield. Hell, even Carmine was more resilient than him sometimes.

But despite this, another reason to Genesis' concern over Edgeworth is that his mind was a precious thing. It was this mind that made them a formidable partnership, and at the same time, it kept him under control despite being a potentially destructive weapon.

Instead of letting his frustration and concern be known, though, Genesis instead channeled it into the power of his blade to further amplify Edgeworth's power. The Rapier blazed up just then, giving the blade a little added power to take down the maggot rushing towards them.
