Description: Bakura goes to visit the other occupied apartment on his floor where the quieter duo lives.







Bakura had always meant to be good neighbors with the quieter apartment on the floor, but past a friendly wave in the hallway, he never really had gotten around to introducing himself, with how everything had been, and now was as good of a time as any. A better time, really....

A pastry box full of fresh out of the oven homemade anpan in hand, he heads down the hall, knocking politely on the door to Apartment A.

Did someone just knock at the door? Alucard exchanged a look with his Meister. Curious, the dhampir decided to put his considerable size and strength between Raidou and anything unusual that might be in the hallway.

"Might I inquire who this is before I open the door?" Alucard asked.

[timelessummoner]

Raidou had been preparing tea in the kitchen when the knock came. He looked over at Alucard.

"Oh, that should be Bakura-san. It is fine."

[draculabackwards]

"Very well, detective." Raidou had been making good strides in recovery from his recent traumas. However, Alucard couldn't be certain some kind of attack would never happen again. Hence the overprotection. He did open the door for their guest and bade him welcome into their home.

[shiromadoushi]

Bakura smiled warmly, giving a small bow. "Sorry for intruding..." he apologized, a touch formal as he stepped inside. "I brought some anpan, they're still a bit warm, but they should be cool enough to eat." he explained, holding out the box.

[draculabackwards]

Alucard didn't know what those were but judging by the scent, they certainly smelled good. "It is quite all right," the dhampir said in response.

[timelessummoner]

There was something comforting in hearing the familiar Japanese formalities here in America. Raidou came out of the kitchen to meet him as well, accepting the box with a bow of his own. "Thank you for coming, Bakura-san. Please, come in -- the tea should be ready in just a second."

Even if it was a bit more formal than home, it was still very relaxing for Bakura as well. "Thank you for having me," he smiled warmly. "I'd really meant to properly introduce myself earlier, when we first moved in, sorry it took until now!"

[draculabackwards]

"Well, things have been a bit hectic as of late. One cannot fault you for not coming over earlier."

Alucard helped to clear off the coffee table, setting a few books on top of the TV, which clearly was never used.

[timelessummoner]

"Go ahead and sit down." Raidou brougth tea for everyone and set down the anpan for them to eat. The smell was very good...

There was a meow from somewhere near Bakura's feet. A little black kitten was staring up at him, having come to see who this new person was.

[shiromadoushi]

"Heeeh, I didn't realize you have a cat too," Bakura smiled warmly, crouching down to offer a hand for the kitten to investigate. "Is she friendly?"

[draculabackwards]

"Be warned. If you give her attention, she likely may never leave you alone. Her name is Kemuri."

Alucard looked at the treats Bakura had brought over. He didn't know what they were but they smelled good.

[shiromadoushi]

Bakura laughed softly. "I don't mind that sort of thing," he assured. "Hello, Kemuri-chan," he greeted cheerfully, petting the kitten. "If she's like a playmate, Ulthar's a little rough, but mostly well behaved. They'd make a pretty start contrast, white and black together."

[timelessummoner]

The kitten rubbed against his hand before trying to nibble on his fingers. "Kemuri, don't bite him," Raidou scolded her gently. "I think that would make her happy, especially since we tend to spend so much time at work. She has had to be alone quite often."

[shiromadoushi]

Bakura easily moved his fingers out of the way, rubbing behind the kitten's ears instead. "I'll have to bring her over, then. Or she can come visit." Since he wasn't at all sure what he was doing work wise for the time being. "It's no good for anyone to be alone if they don't have to be, after all..."
