Sendo looked around the coastline as he stood next to Saya, hoping that he might be able to spot any creature tracks or something that might have told him at least what direction the thing was in.

"I don't think we will." Even if the thing did live in the water, they could just come up with some sort of plan to get it out. "My movements would be too constricted in the water." Even with as reckless as Sendo was, he wasn't stupid enough to engage a kishin in the water, especially if they had a high level of mobility in it.
