Knowing that his weapon was waiting outside of the hall was a bit offputting. Or rather, he was not sure how to feel about that other than "stifling." He could fully understand the term "mother hen" now, or at least get a very good idea. But despite his grievances, he understood that Liz was worried about him and despite his own stubbornness, this was probably the best course of action.
