Alucard took point again, trying to make sense of the path they were supposed to take.

They walked around for another half an hour, checking the landscape. Between one step and the next, Alucard fell to his knees at the rise of Madness. He heard his father telling him to abandon his partner because he was a weak human and not worthy of respect.

Alucard got up and took a few steps back. "Right here. They have to be hiding somewhere in the landscape."
