That was all he said as the weight of his chain which still connected to his hair landed on the ground in front of Hyoubu. "Then face the Truth as you please."

Hades' final warning was shallow. He knew the passive madness wavelength that pulsed through his Weapon form by now and had learned to recognize it as what this world had adapted his divine power and curse of the absolute Truth into. A god did not lie. A god could not lie. It was a principle that dominated a big part of his existence and his way of seeing things - his words were absolute, but also dangerous to even himself.

Thanks to the Truth Hades had no space to doubt or have any qualms or illusions, neither about himself nor the world around him. If he could say something then it was like that. Even if he hadn't known about something until he had said it. Even if he didn't want to believe that it was true. Even if he wanted to deny it, scream or call it a lie.

The Truth was absolute.

It forced Hades to see the world and himself as they really were, all thoughts, flaws and emotions barred. Hope and dreams had no space. Looking away was impossible. And if a Meister was careless enough to push too deep into a resonance with him it forced that poor person to see things that way as well. All fears, all injuries and memories forced to be forgotten, all the good and bad things... They would no longer be able to hide or look away from them.
