After another morning of working at the park—the job felt like nine parts cleaning to one part actual gardening these days—Lily was on the way to her shop after a stop at her apartment to pick up the old prom dresses she had brought home to mend.

Arms full of satin, chiffon, and tulle from decades past, it looked as if a colorful, sparkly cloud was drifting down the street towards the building where ‘Yesterday’s Magic’ would soon open.

More laundry was on the witch’s agenda for the afternoon as well as picking up a large batch of clothes from the dry cleaner’s once she retrieved her purse from the shop. Leaving with all these poofy gowns the evening before, she had forgotten the bag behind the counter and it hadn’t seemed worth the trouble of going back for it when her keys were in her pocket.

After having some of their employees sent home by BREW, there was less time for Eve to leave the shop. Still, she had a bit more leeway in the afternoon, and she's been curious about the new store that was going to open up in the same building as them for some time now.

It was on the first floor, right?
