Description: Only two things can fix an old man's broken heart: an adorable daughter, and an adorable rabbit (not the human kind)
The walk to the Shopping District proved to be a little more difficult than usual, what with the remaining disarray of the city and scattered tents everywhere from the attack a few weeks ago. It made Kotetsu wonder why Kaede would decide to drag him along for a shopping trip, let alone make it such a big secret, but a part of him believed that she'd done it to help bring his spirits up after the news of Rei's leave of the city again.
Whether it was or it wasn't, being with her regardless was enough to cheer him up enough that he could stop looking so completely miserable, which he was sure his daughter and even Barnaby were becoming fed up with. Maybe even the animals (of extra abundance this time around, seeing as they had decided to take in all of Rei's pets) were getting sick of his moping.
But still, as they continued to walk, Kaede's hand in his own, Kotetsu couldn't help but wonder just what exactly would be the end result of this sudden trip.
