The pout remained, but Misa knew by now when to back down with Light. For years she'd been with him, adapting to his moods and his plans, knowing when to push and when to ease off. Usually, it was time to ease off, or he could get angry. It was disconcerting that he was surprised at her mentioning their engagement, but it only hastened her desire to get away to a place where they could talk freely.

With another nod, she gave him a sweet smile and brought the communicator close to her chest. "Alright, I'll find out what I am and then meet you there, right?"
