Resonance holding as steady as possible under the circumstances, Akiha used the information sent to her by her partner to close in on the black clown. She dodged, ducked and spun out of the way of more of those flat arrow-things until she was able to slide to one side. Leaping up to avoid an arrow, Akiha brought the falcon end of the staff down with everything she had upon the clown's head.

She felt it hit, heard the armor crack and the thing suddenly stopped the creepy insane laughter. And then something blew her back and she hit the ground hard, head impacting the ground and the jolt made her cut her lip on her own teeth.

"Ow..."

She rolled onto her side, arm automatically cradling the staff to her as she pressed her hand to her injury. Her head rang. She hoped it was dead. She didn't want to look to see if it was dead.

But that extra madness wasn't trying to invade her mind anymore.
