Whatever it was, it actually hurt quite a bit. Enough so that there was a shot of pain from Sion through their connection. The feeling was quickly shit away as Sion mentally walled it off so it wouldn't bleed through to Akiha but it had already happened.

It did answer the question of if she could ever get hurt. The only problem now was wondering what effects there would be when she appeared back in her human form. She would probably need some level of medical treatment for sure.
