The assault of memories that weren't his was overwhelming and Bakura fought to keep from being swept up in them and keep the shield up as long as he could, but when his double screamed and pushed it all fell apart. The shield gave way and the resonance severed, leaving Bakura tumbling from his double's hand and human on the ground at his feet, haphazardly curled up against the rubble of the fallen building, dazed by both memories and the suddenly broken resonance.
