Description: Sheena and Zaki gives a try to go out for a date.

Yamazaki ran out of his apartment with the still turned on communicator in one hand. He wasn't able to think of small things like locking the door or taking up more appealing clothes. Sheena waited for him in the very building he lived. she was here! And she was ready to go out with him! His heart sang a gloomy song of a soldier leaving his homeland en route to the war and death...It did not fit to the occasion but these kind of songs were Yamazaki's favorites. When he arrived at the third floor he stopped at Sheena's door, took a deep breath, and...took another deep breath...he raised up his hand...and tugged his messy hair...and then he knocked the door very quickly and turned away!

[Not far from Death by Pastry Zaki just remembers he forgot about something.]

Sheena...did I tell you in person? You know, what I told through the communicator.

Hmmm?

[She looks up at him with a smile. She's been enjoying the walk and being with him and blushes as she realizes what he's getting at.]

I- I don't think you did.

[Now it's time to tell her those words, but Yamazaki suddenly forgets every human languages he ever spoke as he looks into Sheena's eyes. There's no way he can tell her here and now, it's just impossible!]

I love you.

[Obviously, he overcame the impossible, and she'll just stand there, staring back at him and blushing as she tries to figure out her own emotional state at hearing the words in person.

Zaki...

[For Sheena's Zaki it's very hard to make up an answer which is not a faint 'Sheena...' but he does manage to say something else. Yes, he's so cool.]

Sheena...would you mind if I kissed you? Not now and here, but when you feel you would not mind...I'd really like to...uh...

[Yes, he's so cool.]

Zaki-- I don't mind right now.

[Are you sure?]

Sheena...we're in the middle of the street.

I-I-I'm absolutely OK with kissing you anywhere, but-but-but what if people would think ugly things of you?

[He's embracing Sheena with one arm and looks at her face.]

[She's very sure.]

I know. And you know what? I don't care.

[Her own arm wraps about his waist somewhat shyly.]

I like you, Zaki; I really like you. [And she wants the world--or at least their part of it--to know it.]

Besides, people might actually think good things about me--like how lucky I am to be with you.

Lucky...because of me...being liked...

[Brain breaks and so do all the moral dams in Yamazaki's mind. He leans to the girl and his lips touch hers, very gently and carefully. And he closes his eyes while doing it.]

Yes, Zaki--

[Anything else she may have said is lost as they share their first kiss. Sheena doesn't mind, however, and closing her own eyes, she returns it shyly and just as gently.]

[A few moments later Zaki leans his head back and opens his eyes just to see Sheena's face and smile at her.]

Thank you. Thank you, dear.

[Sheena's slightly breathless when she opens hers, her breath catching when she see his gaze and smile. Her cheeks are red and her smile shy as she looks up at him.]

Why-- Why are you thanking me?

[Oh and that "dear" he called her? He may notice a warm and happy shine in her eyes because of it.]

[This is a very good question!]

You know...liking me and kissing me here...it must be hard for you.

[Dense guy is dense. Poor Sheena!]

[She gives him a warm smile.]

It's not hard at all, Zaki. Not at all.

[Both the liking and the kissing.]

[Zaki is the luckiest guy in the town, for sure.]

Really? I'm...

[He just can't find the words so grabs Sheena's waist, lifts her up and spins around for a few second before he let the girl back to the ground.]

I am so happy when you're around.

[She's feeling pretty lucky herself, you know.]

Wha--! Zaki! [She's laughing delightedly as he twirls her, her arms wrapping about his neck as she's lowered.]

I can tell, and [Furious blush here] I feel the same way about you.

Huh...

[Sheena's still makes the guy blush with almost everything she does.]

Let's go for the cakes, right? And you don't have to hold yourself back, I like when a girl has a good appetite, really.

[Lowly facts like money are not on his mind at the moment.]

[One day, both of them may stop blushing around each other. But that's not today.

Her cheeks are still red from that twirl as she nods. Hoping to divert from that and focus on the food at the same time, she asks:]

Do they have chocolate? I haven't been there, so I don't know.

[Accidentally, Yamazaki knows too well that Death by Pastry has the best chocolate cake in the town. To wipe away all the confusing memories he suddenly lifts up Sheena and gives her a bridal style entrance to the place they planned to go.]

Yes, they have tasty chocolate cake and all kind of other sweets I've never heard of, but today we'll taste them all, right?

[He smiles at the girl as he places her to a chair at a table.]

Is this place OK? Or do you want to sit somewhere else?

[Unaware of the reason, Sheena gives a surprised yelp as she's lifted--again--and carried into the shop. The pink in her cheeks isn't from embarrassment from entering this way, but from how nice it felt to be held like that and to put her arms about his neck.

It just felt right.]

I don't know about tasting all of them, Zaki, but I guess we can try.

[She reluctantly lets him go as she sits down, but smiles at his question. Taking his hand, she tugs him into the chair next to her.]

This place is just fine, Zaki.

[Zaki lands on the chair with the elegance of a turtle, but he smiles as he looks around. When he finds the menu he hands it over to Sheena with a little bow.]

My stomach is in your hands, my Lady.

...Er, not literally.

[And so is his wallet, but he does not mind!

[She smiles at his comment and correction; she knows what he means.]

I should warn you; I have a bit of a sweet tooth.

[His wallet is still safe, though.]

I don't mind. It's terrible to hear when girls who have pretty shape complain because of their weight. And you're shape is very pretty.

[Yes, it is!]

You think I have a pretty shape?

[She blushes furiously at the compliment--so sweetly different from the ones she normally gets--and ducks behind the menu to hide it.]

Th-Thanks, Zaki.

Yeah...yes. Your shape is very pretty. It...it is hard to look at you without having...*cough*...indecent thoughts.

[Yamazaki stares something behind the window. His head is full of indecent thoughts. But he'll never tell it to Sheena. What would the girl think of him?]

You...you don't have to thank me, if it would depend on me your shape was very different...
