Description: Sheena and Zaki gives a try to go out for a date.

Yamazaki ran out of his apartment with the still turned on communicator in one hand. He wasn't able to think of small things like locking the door or taking up more appealing clothes. Sheena waited for him in the very building he lived. she was here! And she was ready to go out with him! His heart sang a gloomy song of a soldier leaving his homeland en route to the war and death...It did not fit to the occasion but these kind of songs were Yamazaki's favorites. When he arrived at the third floor he stopped at Sheena's door, took a deep breath, and...took another deep breath...he raised up his hand...and tugged his messy hair...and then he knocked the door very quickly and turned away!

Zaki, it's okay. It doesn't matter how you know that, okay? I was just letting you know that you guessed right about me. [She's got one heck of a sweet tooth.] As for the sake, though-- [She trails off slightly before rushing ahead with what she thinks might be news that will drive him away.]

I'm pretty familiar with it, since I've had it back home and here, and not all of it's spicy.

[And if she hasn't sent him away, then yes he can share something they have in common with her to "capture her heart", but only if he wants to, not because he thinks he has to.]

Yeah, I know what you mean, Zaki. [And it's something she's looking forward to it.]

[Zaki has just noticed he did basically nothing in the previous ten minutes than panicking. He takes a careful look at Sheena. Isn1t she annoyed because of his shyness? He hopes she isn't.

But knowing that Sheena drank alcohol before was news to him.]

I didn't think you ever tasted sake, you look so young. But if you like it let's go to a pub one day, right? I'd like to see you when you're a bit drunk.

[He smiles a bit and looks at the girl if she likes the idea.]

I hope there's a place somewhere here the moon can't stalk after us or drool on us. Seriuosly, this...celestial stuff scares me sometimes.

[His shyness is nothing compared to Genis', who stuttered so badly around Presea that half the time, he couldn't even get a word out--let alone a sentence. So, no, she's not annoyed--as long as he isn't annoyed by her constant blushing and stammering at the same time.]

I'm nineteen, and I tasted sake a long time ago in my village back home. In fact, I had some not to long ago that I got from work. It was pretty good. [She's just not going to tell him where she drank it; she doubts he'd find the idea of a cemetery appealing.]

But drunk? I'm not sure how much I'd have to drink to get to that point. Some of these planet's drinks are different than home's, so it might not take much. [Just remember, Zaki, she can be violent sober. She probably isn't drunk.]

Actually, it's the sun that drools more than the moon. The moon just watches everything. I wave at it sometimes.

[Zaki knows almost nothing of Sheena's stuttering and non-stuttering friends and non-friends from her world, but if he knew he was relieved for his own non-stuttering way of speaking. And he thinks that the girl's blushing is very appealing...it's a bit too much appealing, to be honest. ]

Are you nineteen? I didn't think you're...er, I mean I though you were younger. You look so fresh and young...er, but don't worry, I don't like too young girls, I'm not that kind of man! It's just...I like only you, as you are. If you drank sake and you liked it won't change the fact that you're the kindest and and most appealing girl I know.

[Duh, Zaki, stop being cheesy!]

Really? Does the sun drool? I never knew which one did it. And what the moon does when you wave to...him?

Yeah. There's actually a game called "Dodge the Drool here. And the moon? Well, he just looks back at me and does nothing.

[It was easier to answer that part than the other first, since she's still processing everything else he said. Finally, she addresses it, her cheeks red from yet another blush.]

Thanks, Zaki. You really have no idea how much what you just said means to me.

A game? If we were in the world I came from it would be "Drool back on the Sun" or something similar. You...you can't even imagine what idiots lived there. Well, maybe you can, since you know me.

[He laughs because that world was a paradise for idiots, for real. But when he hears what Sheena says afterward, he stops and turns to the girl.]

No, I really don't have any idea what does my blabbering mean to you. Would you tell it to me? Or is it a secret?

[She shakes her head.]

It's not blabbering.

And it's no secret. You accept me for who I am--no questions asked and despite anything that might be different about me.

[Not far from Death by Pastry Zaki just remembers he forgot about something.]

Sheena...did I tell you in person? You know, what I told through the communicator.

Hmmm?

[She looks up at him with a smile. She's been enjoying the walk and being with him and blushes as she realizes what he's getting at.]

I- I don't think you did.

[Now it's time to tell her those words, but Yamazaki suddenly forgets every human languages he ever spoke as he looks into Sheena's eyes. There's no way he can tell her here and now, it's just impossible!]

I love you.

[Obviously, he overcame the impossible, and she'll just stand there, staring back at him and blushing as she tries to figure out her own emotional state at hearing the words in person.

Zaki...

[For Sheena's Zaki it's very hard to make up an answer which is not a faint 'Sheena...' but he does manage to say something else. Yes, he's so cool.]

Sheena...would you mind if I kissed you? Not now and here, but when you feel you would not mind...I'd really like to...uh...

[Yes, he's so cool.]

Zaki-- I don't mind right now.

[Are you sure?]

Sheena...we're in the middle of the street.

I-I-I'm absolutely OK with kissing you anywhere, but-but-but what if people would think ugly things of you?

[He's embracing Sheena with one arm and looks at her face.]

[She's very sure.]

I know. And you know what? I don't care.

[Her own arm wraps about his waist somewhat shyly.]

I like you, Zaki; I really like you. [And she wants the world--or at least their part of it--to know it.]

Besides, people might actually think good things about me--like how lucky I am to be with you.

Lucky...because of me...being liked...

[Brain breaks and so do all the moral dams in Yamazaki's mind. He leans to the girl and his lips touch hers, very gently and carefully. And he closes his eyes while doing it.]

Yes, Zaki--

[Anything else she may have said is lost as they share their first kiss. Sheena doesn't mind, however, and closing her own eyes, she returns it shyly and just as gently.]

[A few moments later Zaki leans his head back and opens his eyes just to see Sheena's face and smile at her.]

Thank you. Thank you, dear.

[Sheena's slightly breathless when she opens hers, her breath catching when she see his gaze and smile. Her cheeks are red and her smile shy as she looks up at him.]

Why-- Why are you thanking me?

[Oh and that "dear" he called her? He may notice a warm and happy shine in her eyes because of it.]

[This is a very good question!]

You know...liking me and kissing me here...it must be hard for you.

[Dense guy is dense. Poor Sheena!]

[She gives him a warm smile.]

It's not hard at all, Zaki. Not at all.

[Both the liking and the kissing.]

[Zaki is the luckiest guy in the town, for sure.]

Really? I'm...

[He just can't find the words so grabs Sheena's waist, lifts her up and spins around for a few second before he let the girl back to the ground.]

I am so happy when you're around.

[She's feeling pretty lucky herself, you know.]

Wha--! Zaki! [She's laughing delightedly as he twirls her, her arms wrapping about his neck as she's lowered.]

I can tell, and [Furious blush here] I feel the same way about you.

Huh...

[Sheena's still makes the guy blush with almost everything she does.]

Let's go for the cakes, right? And you don't have to hold yourself back, I like when a girl has a good appetite, really.

[Lowly facts like money are not on his mind at the moment.]

[One day, both of them may stop blushing around each other. But that's not today.

Her cheeks are still red from that twirl as she nods. Hoping to divert from that and focus on the food at the same time, she asks:]

Do they have chocolate? I haven't been there, so I don't know.
