Patti could not help but think the witch was pretty nice despite the situation since she offered to let them escape, but Patti did not say anything since it would likely break Kid's concentration. That, and just because the witch was being generous, it did not mean that she was actually good.

Regardless, the thrill of battle was starting to seep in through Kid's words, and Patti grinned to herself. This was going to be good.
