Description: Zeratul sets out to familiarize himself with the city, and research the war and world he’s been thrown into.

"I have been to a few locations, yes," Tassadar said. Whether he noticed Zeratul's avoidance of more dangerous topics or not was uncertain, but if he had he was pleased with the change in direction. Yet he couldn't help as though he was letting his companion down by keeping his thoughts to himself. He had never felt the need to before arriving here, and yet he simply didn't want to be seen as a disappointment to the prelate.

Sighting the park up ahead, Tassadar suddenly came to a stop as he peered over at his companion. "There is much that we still need to discuss," he began while watching Zeratul's reaction closely. "But I believe it wise to do so when you deem it appropriate."

Considering that he was possibly going to have to witness the end of all life in their galaxy (again), Zeratul's expectations of some things, including himself, were still low. It still felt like a chore to drag himself around sometimes, but at least he was honestly curious about this place. Tassadar's troubles here certainly worried him, but he could hardly find it in him to be disappointed in any fashion.

"It is a mutual thing," Zeratul said, stopping to face the templar. "When it is time, we will speak of it."

The momentary pause at Zeratul's answer ended when he chuckled lightly in return. He supposed that the prelate had a point, and he too stopped when Zeratul did and turned to face his companion. There was nothing but trust in the other that they would, even despite how difficult the topics would be to hear. Selendis hadn't known much about Zeratul's future, but then again, it came as no surprise. He thirsted for that knowledge though, but it was a thirst that could wait.

"I am certain there is much that you need to discover before that moment," Tassadar answered in return. While he didn't say it, the templar knew that Kerrigan's presence in the city would eventually draw the prelate and the Ghost together. While he wanted to protect her, he knew that Zeratul would never go against his word either.

Zeratul's own curiosity was seated in what Tassadar had experienced here, and not back home. It was obvious he knew nothing of what happened to him after the defeat of the Overmind, and that was where most of Zeratul's questions came from. Oblivious that, Tassadar had no answers for him there, and all that was left was this war.

"Perhaps this peace will give use the time and the knowledge we need," he said. Doubtful, but he could still hope for some things. At the same time, the sooner conflict arrived, then the sooner they could fight to win, and then go home.

He was uncertain if this place could do such a thing, but research had never been one of his stronger sides. While he wasn't poor at it, the templar was far more comfortable on a battlefield. Although, perhaps it had been his experiences here that had lead him to forgo the path of knowledge as he kept to himself instead.

"Perhaps," Tassadar said in reply before he began heading to the park again. He knew that in order to return to Aiur sooner, he would need to locate himself a new Weapon, but the templar couldn't bring himself to do just that. Which left him unable to fight and feeling oddly lacking giving his position prior to his arrival here.

He let Tassadar walk ahead a few paces before following after him. The silence wouldn't bother him, and they could certainly both benefit from some time meditating. It just felt a bit aggravating that the things they couldn't talk about got in the way of things they could talk about. They'd taken long enough to get past those first barriers between their two factions, and it was like starting all over again.

Well, not entirely. They had plenty of common ground, and it was foolish to expect things to be like they were during those months. Sometimes it was easy to forget they were being hunted by the zerg, as the companionship he'd found had made it so very worthwhile. This was just going to take time, and he still had a few hundred years left in him yet.
