A long war indeed. Imagining a war that long made Disciple queasy. The revolution she had been a part of had been long enough for her tastes, and it didn't even touch to being close to that. The smile dimmed a little at this news but a curious thing happened as she continued to listen to him.

Perhaps it was just because of how he held himself, in a truly respectful manner, or because of how much his ideals aligned with her own and all that she and her companions had fought for but suddenly, she very clearly and distinctly felt that he was telling the truth. It was difficult to think otherwise when he spoke so passionately about it.

There is much I still do not understand, but peace is certainly a noble cause. I am not certain of how much help I could be, but I will do my best to help k33p innocents from being harmed.
