There was a part of him that longed for that familiarity, the memories that went with some of those things. Chocobo racing, taming the wild ones down, gazing up at the Nibel Mountains at dawn or dusk. They were all very familiar to him and both had special feelings attached to them.
"It's not necessary," he replied with a slight shrug of his right shoulder. He was unwilling to move the left just in case it hurt. "There are mountains here that we haven't seen and those 'horse' things are interesting, though I've never ridden one."
