Characters: Okita Sougo and Lucy Heartfilia
Location: Random hobo bench out in Death City
Rating: sappy
Time: January 18th -- late afternoon
Description: Will you be my girlfriend? Circle yes or no.
After the unintentional drunken slumber party, followed by the morning of loud and annoying with the rest of the Shinsengumi -- Sougo had abandoned ship as soon as he was able to walk steadily, gotten himself some water, some painkillers, and like a gallon of coffee before taking residence up on one of the benches in the shopping district of Death City. This was where he napped a few hours, the sleeping mask shielding out the bright grinning sun and the exhaustion shielding out the chattering of people who passed by.
Even by the time he started to stir to life, he felt kind of like death. The headache was stubborn, his stomach was relatively unsettled (but steady...nothing was coming up at least), and his whole body just ached. A low groan sounded from his lips and rolled onto his side.
