Except Kuroro was never one for doing as other people planned, and handed Kurapika his box after Kuroro had determined which one was his.
He sat down on the couch and unwrapped the package (messily, naturally), ripping off paper to get to the box underneath, and mercilessly snapping the tape off. Kuroro hadn't expected anything in particular, and he blinked at the scarf and the mittens with some surprise.
"Where did you get these?" he asked, sounding pleased as he lifted the scarf out because they were pretty handsome things. He didn't remember the mall stocking these at all -- apparently, black wasn't such a common color here, unlike purple and orange.
